For those who do not know, it's a fair old bet to say that negroes will be the culprits here in this hell hole area of Manchester.

Teenagers in machine gun shootout

STAY INDOORS: Children in Moss Side yesterday.

FAMILIES spoke of their terror after teenagers on bikes fought a gun battle with youths in a car.

Police last night sent armed officers onto the streets of Moss Side after three shootings in 24 hours, all of which are believed to be linked.
The first incident happened on Pepperhill Road on Monday when a teenager on a mountain bike fired at a car chasing him and three other cyclists.

A witness said the dark-coloured car sped into the residential street at 50mph as a passenger leaned out of the window and shot at the gang.

He said one of the bikers returned fire by aiming his weapon behind him and shooting without looking at his target.

No one was hurt although houses and cars were sprayed with stray bullets.
Cartridges
More than 20 spent cartridges were found at the scene as well as abandoned mountain bikes.
A bullet hit Rahmed Jama's Vauxhall Astra which was parked outside her home. Now she will not let her children, Saffa, three, and Belal, two, outside to play.

Rahmed, 35, who was in the back garden when she heard the blasts, said: "Saffa was really scared and saying `are the bad guys going to come again?' There are so many kids here. Somebody could have been hurt.
"This area is not secure. I read a survey that it was safe nowadays but I think it's not. A month ago there was another shooting near here. It's really getting worse living in Moss Side."
Ceasefire
Another witness who didn't want to be named said: "They talk about a ceasefire in the Lebanon but we need one here. I've lived in Manchester nearly 30 years and I've never seen it this bad.
"It's obviously to do with drugs and gangs again and one area fighting the other.
"These kids on the bikes were only teenagers. They must have been 16 or 17 years old.
"One of them on the mountain bikes had a machine gun. It looked like an Uzi to me. He was just firing it blindly. He wasn't even looking. That makes it even more dangerous."
A mother of three, who didn't want to be named, said: "It's getting worse. At first I thought it was fireworks. I saw a load of bikes in the road and these lads running off.
"Fortunately, my kids went away on holiday with their dad the day before otherwise they could have been playing out in the street.
"If it had been hot weather like it has been then there definitely would have been children out playing and I don't like to think what would have happened."
Police believe the shooting could be linked to a second incident where bullets were fired at a house on Claremont Road, at 10.35am yesterday.
Tit-for-tat
An hour later, gun shots were fired at a house on Broadfield Road, also in Moss Side. No one was hurt in any of the incidents.
Det. Supt. Gerry McGowan admitted the incidents appeared to be tit-for-tat shootings but he said extra patrols had been put in place to reassure residents.
He said: "We are aware the community will be concerned and I can reassure them we have a dedicated team working to chase the people responsible.
"These do not appear to be random attacks. We believe they are targeted between groups of people who are known to each other. We are keen to speak to anyone who may have any further information.
"I understand that the nature of these incidents could mean that people are afraid to come forward but any information we receive will be treated in the strictest confidence.
"Our officers are committed to tackling gun crime. With the assistance of the local community we can remove guns from Moss Side."
