Is Our Second US Civil War — also a ‘Forever War’?
Who was not stunned to learn that as Trump seemed to be pulling ahead in the voting count on Nov. 3, suddenly, around midnight, the vote counting appeared to stop in the crucial swing states, and we were told it would begin again early the next morning? Why the halt?
When the Electoral College meets Monday, it will almost surely certify former Vice President Joe Biden as the 46th president of the United States. And he will take the oath of office Jan. 20.
There is, nationally, a growing if grudging realization of that reality.
Yet millions of Americans will refuse to accept the legitimacy of that election and its outcome and will continue to believe, with President Donald Trump, that it was “rigged.”
“Was the 2020 election stolen by the establishment to get rid of a president, Donald Trump, whom it loathed?” will be debated decades hence — as are questions such as, “Did FDR have advance knowledge the Japanese were going to attack?” and, “Did Lee Harvey Oswald act alone in Dallas?”
That perception that something was afoot first arose in the minds of millions in the hours after the election on Nov. 3, when 83% of Republicans polled by Gallup said they did not believe reports of Trump’s defeat.
Things perceived as real are real in their consequences.
And there was justification for that perception. Who was not stunned to learn that as Trump seemed to be pulling ahead in the voting count on Nov. 3, suddenly, around midnight, the vote counting appeared to stop in the crucial swing states, and we were told it would begin again early the next morning? The Washington Post reports this week that, midway between Election Day and Inauguration Day, only 27 congressional Republicans would acknowledge Biden’s win. Some 220 GOP members of the House and Senate — 88% of Republicans serving in Congress — would not say who won the election.
And Trump continues to fight on, millions behind him, to persuade public officials in such battleground states as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada to withdraw their certifications.
He is said to be working the phones to get Republicans in Congress to reject the designation of Biden as president.
He has joined a suit by 17 states’ attorneys general to have the Supreme Court accept Texas’ argument that late alterations in the voting processes in four swing states be declared unconstitutional and illegal.
Among the more credible charges is that, due to the pandemic, late changes were made in the voting processes of states, especially with mailed-out and mailed-in ballots. The contention is that votes cast as a consequence of changes done contrary to state laws or constitutions should be thrown out. Most of those votes came from the urban precincts where Biden’s margins were massive.
While some 50 lawsuits filed in Trump’s cause may have been rejected in courts, the hourly allegations of fraud in the collection and counting of ballots have given credence to a generalized belief that Trump was cheated of votes he received and Biden received votes that were illicitly cast.
Where will this leave us Jan. 20?
American politics will be even more poisoned and polarized than it has been for the last four years. Tens of millions of Americans will see themselves as disfranchised and believe that the greatest champion they have had in decades was illegally driven from power by the same deep state-media conspiracy he fought for four years.
Reinforcing this perception is the sudden revelation this week that Biden’s son Hunter is indeed the target of a federal tax investigation.
That is a story the mainstream media not only refused to cover but sought to bury. And it further buttresses a widespread belief that the mainstream media were in the tank for Biden and will use the power they have to fix the outcome of future American elections in favor of the establishment to which they belong.
For scores of millions of Americans, the mainstream media have lost any credibility and moral authority they once had.
The media have spent four years promoting the falsehood that Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump conspired to steal the 2016 election, a charge for which the two-year Robert Mueller investigation could not find any substance at all. They championed the cause of impeachment of Trump over a single comment in a phone call to the president of Ukraine.
And all the while, they painted Trump as racist, sexist, homophobic and treasonous, and his followers as torch-carrying deplorables.
The hypocritical calls from the mainstream media today for us all to come together, after the atrocities they perpetrated, boggle the mind.
Amazing. And now that the Democrats appear to have captured the White House, the message is, “Can’t we all just get along?”
What lies ahead?
Some see secession. But though secession is unlikely, a secession of the heart has already taken place in America. We are two nations, two peoples seemingly separated indefinitely. Can a nation so divided as ours, racially, ideologically, religiously, still do great things together, as did the America of days gone by, to the amazement of the world?

The 'Great Reset' - is it happening ?
How can we make sense of this 'lockdown' madness ? Yes, there is something out there that brings on severe breathing issues. But almost no one knows anyone that has suffered with this Covid . This writer knows a few that have contracted Covid ,but not one of them had anything worse than slight flu. Very few are suffering. But yet whole western economies are/ have been shut down.
It's interesting that when Margaret Thatcher got elected in 1979. She argued against industrial economies and that they didn't matter. She argued that 'service economies' were just as good. Whilst she was talking 'monetarist' crap via Milton Friedman. Isn't this exactly what has happened to our economy? Hence why the service industries now in the UK, have been effectively closed down by these dictatorial edicts from Der Fuhrer, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson . Johnson is of Russian Jewish and Turkish stock, and born in New York. Just how did he get a British passport ? Sounds very similar to Barak Obamas scenario - Barry Soetoro ?
Something very serious is occuring............and this is something very unusual. Even a large number of 'lefties' agree with being sceptical about this Covid saga. Hence the huge numbers turning out UK wide to oppose the 'lockdowns'.

A police officer has revealed she is transgender and identifying as a woman after nearly two decades on the force.
West Midlands Police officer Skye Morden said she always knew she was transgender but 'kept it a secret for years.'
The 44-year-old, who wears a blonde wig to work and has had makeup lessons, has now come out as a woman after splitting from her wife.
PC Morden is on a waiting list for physical transitioning treatment but must first 'socially transition' to demonstrate her commitment to doctors.
She said that means, 'wearing a wig and using some crayons.'
The force shared PC Morden's story online but it sparked a backlash from some who questioned whether the officer would be given powers to carry out searches of female suspects. Others criticised PC Morden for posing with a Taser.
It remains unclear whether PC Morden carries out frontline duties or is based solely in the Taser training team.
According to guidance issued by the Association of Chief of Police Officers (which has since been replaced by the National Police Chiefs Council), any officer with a gender recognition certificate can carry out searches on an individual whose gender matches that now recorded for the officer.

Under the Gender Recognition Act 2004, trans people who have lived in their acquired gender for at least two years can make an application for a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) to the Gender Recognition Panel at the Tribunals Service.
Once granted, this enables the person to legally change their gender. It is not essential for an individual to have had surgery or have hormonal treatment in order to be granted a GRC.
PC Morden, who is single and has no children, added: 'I have always known I was transgender, even before I knew there was a word for it.
'But I kept it a secret for decades - I never knew how to come out to friends, family and colleagues.
'I've been one of 14 officers holding a police line against an angry mob of more than 1,000 people. And I've been surrounded by a gang of burglars armed with baseball bats and hammers.
'But none of that is as terrifying as walking out as a transgender woman in front of 30 police officers on a tactical training course that I've never met before.
'We're undoubtedly in a more tolerant era now than 10 or 20 years ago – that's what held me back from coming out earlier – but it's still scary.'
PC Morden pays for a private prescription of cream to reduce her hair growth as her recurring stubble is 'breaking' her.
She added: 'As I put on my lipstick and blonde wig ahead of a day at work for the very first time; I could barely contain my nerves.
'My colleagues were used to seeing me with a shaved head and 'Hollywood' stubble. I was scared of what colleagues and members of the public will say and how will they treat me.
'I have dealt with the worst of humanity during my 19 years at West Midlands police.
'I've been spat on, stabbed and punched whilst on duty but nothing compared to the fear of turning up to work as the real me.'

She revealed she came out as trans to her supervisor in 2018 but only in the last few weeks, 'has she been true to herself in front of officers under her tutorage.'
The 44-year-old has faced transphobic abuse online since coming out, but says her colleagues have been supportive and helped her weather the storm.
She added: 'Since I was young I always knew something was different inside of me, that my head and identity didn't match my physical self. This has caused near constant worry, anxiety and stress which I have tried to hide, ignore, run from and bluster my way through.
'This past year I simply had enough. I realised that I needed to be me, I needed to be true to myself, I needed to do this for my own sanity.
'Since plucking up the courage to come out to colleagues at work the support and love I've had has been incredible.
'Most people here in the police are interested and supportive and simply want to know me, so that they themselves can be more understanding and aware. The world hasn't ended since I came out and I can be at peace with myself for the first time in my life.
'I am absolutely sure that someone you know is also confused about their gender identity, or even like me, certain about their identity.
'We simply ask to be allowed to live and be ourselves, without fear of being subjected to hatred, harassment, ridicule and abuse. I am still me, your friend, your brother, your sister, your colleague, no matter how I present, or what clothes I wear or how I identify.'

On coming out, Pc Morden added: 'I was incredibly nervous. How do you say to male police colleagues that you're trans to some of the most alpha guys around?
'Initially, I was terrified, but everyone has been so welcoming and inclusive so it's been a huge relief and I feel like I can finally be me.'
Pc Morden, who is currently a Taser trainer at the Midlands Region Tactical Training centre in Albrighton, is now working to help other transgender officers feel comfortable and accepted at work.
She is on the Force's LGB&T committee and is working with the West Midlands Police Federation on practical ways to help trans members.
In a message to colleagues, she added: 'You can be who you are, and colleagues and friends will be more supportive than you think.'
