The Curry King

Close UK borders, says 'curry king'

Britain should close its borders to all immigrants for up to 10 years to prevent potential racial unrest, says one of the country's highest-profile Indian-born businessmen.
Sir Gulam Noon, known as the "curry king" because of his ready-meals firm, said a ban was required to prevent extremists such as the British National Party exploiting tensions.
"I strongly feel that whoever are the immigrants here, we better give them jobs and give them dignity to live here before we import some more," he told BBC1's Andrew Marr Show.
"I do not want a situation whereby a party like the BNP say that 'listen, all your jobs are being taken away by immigrants'. We have to be extremely careful. Some sort of a ban should be there."
The suggestion that the ban could last up to a decade comes from a forthcoming autobiography, the Mail on Sunday reported.
It said that Mr Noon writes in the book: "We should wait for five or ten years, until all the newcomers have been properly integrated and assimilated into the country. Until then we should just shut the door.
"We can only accommodate so many. If the room will only hold ten people, hold a meeting for ten people and not 20. It is simple logic. There is always a danger that for the sake of political correctness, or a party's political advantage, we find ourselves filling up the country with too many immigrants who will disturb the balance and upset the people, particularly the young people, of the host community."
Mr Noon escaped from the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai during the recent terror attacks.

Three arrested after city marches

Three men have been arrested for public order offences during marches held by British National Party members and anti-racism supporters in Liverpool.
The men are aged 20, 22 and 32 years, and from Prenton, Wallasey and Liverpool, Merseyside police said.
About 100 people from each campaign group were kept apart by police as they marched through the city centre.
Extra officers had been drafted in to cover the events, a police spokesman said.
Ch Supt Tony Doherty said: "The force liaised with both groups earlier in the week in a bid to minimise disruption to members of the public and to ensure that congestion was avoided where possible.
"Extra officers were brought in to ensure that everything ran smoothly and to reassure the public through highly visible policing."

Three men arrested as hundreds take to the streets of Liverpool in opposing marches

THREE men were arrested for public order offences during two opposing marches which took place in the city today.
Hundreds of people took part in British National Party and anti-racism marches in the city centre. There was a huge police presence throughout the day as BNP supporters and their opponents took to the streets of Liverpool. Three men, a 20-year-old from Prenton, a 22-year-old from Wallasey and a 32-year-old from Liverpool, were arrested. Nick Griffin, BNP chairman, flanked by at least six burly bodyguards, made a speech to a crowd of hundreds on the steps of St George’s Hall at lunchtime. The two groups were kept apart by Merseyside Police officers on foot, on horseback and in CCTV vans. Last weekend 13 British National Party (BNP) members were arrested on suspicion of giving out racist material near Whitechapel, Liverpool. On Saturday Merseyside Police said they had been released without charge after consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.

Facebook BNP Supporter Linked To Party Officials Was Among Those In Plot To Fireball BNP Members

FURY erupted last week after vigilantes launched a website to plot firebomb attacks on BNP members’ homes. Police were called in to investigate after 52 apparently willing arsonists signed up to “Let’s Firebomb Every BNP Household In Britain” on Facebook.

The website included a link to 12,000 names and addresses on a leaked BNP membership list.
It called for bomb attacks on followers of the far right party, who were branded “racists, fascists, thugs and Nazis”.

The website declared: “Let’s show these scumbags that they will not be tolerated!’’ The site administrator, using the name Camilo Cienfuegos, ranted:

“I have attended ‘secret’ BNP meetings in the past and have heard their opinions and the things they would try to enact once they gain power – and let me tell you they are evil!

“By the way racist scum, I am as English as fish’n’chips and a pint of Bulldog.“ It doesn’t matter how many of you come on here and whine like scared little bitches about the terrible Red Army coming to firebomb you out of your houses like fleas in an old rug, it won’t change anything.

“F*** off and wait patiently for your houses to get fire-stormed, you scum.”

The internet rallying cry came only 48 hours after bungling vigilantes firebombed a car outside the home of a man whose name appeared on the leaked list. But the motor blown up in Liversedge, West Yorks, belonged to a neighbour of a former BNP member.

Last night horrified Facebook members called for the group to be axed. One calling himself Rob Darwin, from Wales, left a message on the website saying: “Come and get me, Camilo, you gutless idiot. Egging on other people because you can’t do the dirty work yourself.“ “What a pathetic excuse for a man.” Last night a spokesman for Facebook said the website was investigating and was likely to shut down the group.

And a senior detective told the Daily Star:

“This would certainly be considered an incitement to violence.’’ Daily Star

Were seven Britons in the terror gang? Security chiefs probe Yorkshire link to Mumbai attacks

Up to seven of the Islamic militants who brought carnage to Mumbai could have been British, it was claimed yesterday.
The security services are investigating whether British men of Pakistani origin were among the terrorists.
The reports came as Indian commandos were last night still fighting gun battles with the insurgents. The violence has left at least 150 people dead, including one Briton.

The press is declaring 7 of the Mumbai killers are from Yorkshire on this evenings news.

Tory frontbench MP Damian Green arrested over leaks

A Tory frontbencher was questioned by police last night after being arrested as part of a leak inquiry.

Damian Green, the Shadow Immigration Minister, was arrested in Kent and had his home, constituency office and Commons office searched by counter-terrorism officers. He may be charged for receiving documents allegedly passed by a male Home Office official who was also arrested.

Conservative sources said that David Cameron was furious about the treatment of one of his team and described the arrest as “Stalinesque”. George Osborne, the Shadow Chancellor, said that the police had some “very big questions” to answer over the arrest.

A spokesman for the Prime Minister insisted that Gordon Brown had “no prior knowledge” of the arrest.

The Metropolitan Police denied any ministerial involvement in the decision to arrest Mr Green. “A 52-year-old man . . . has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit misconduct in a public office and aiding and abetting, counselling or procuring misconduct in a public office,” it said.

“The investigation into the alleged leak of confidential government material followed the receipt by the Metropolitan Police Service of a complaint from the Cabinet Office. The decision to make today’s arrest was taken solely by the Metropolitan Police Service without any ministerial knowledge or approval.”

The Conservatives said: “As Shadow Immigration Minister, Mr Green has, on a number of occasions, legitimately revealed information, which the Home Office chose not to make public. Disclosure of this information was manifestly in the public interest. Mr Green denies any wrongdoing.”

The official connected to Mr Green’s arrest acted as cover for absent staff in the private offices of Home Office ministers. It is understood that he was arrested last week.

Mr Green, the MP for Ashford, is facing questions about four leaks to the media between November last year and September this year. They include a letter from the Home Secretary to Mr Brown over the economic downturn’s impact on crime. It is understood that the Home Office and Whitehall were alarmed at this disclosure because it was circulated among so few people. Other damaging stories include a list, prepared by Labour whips, of MPs’ likely voting intentions on legislation to extend to 42 days’ detention without charge.

Tory sources said that Mr Cameron supported Mr Green fully and was confident that he had not paid for the documents. The arrest is certain to start a political row over who in government knew about or sanctioned action against a Tory frontbencher.

It was unlikely to be a coincidence that the arrest happened on Sir Ian Blair’s last day in charge of the Met.Sources close to the Shadow Cabinet suggested that an investigation into such a senior politician would have been cleared “at the very top”.
Mr Green was released and bailed to return to the police station in February. Speaking outside the House of Commons early today, he said: “I was astonished to have spent more than nine hours under arrest for doing my job. I emphatically deny I have done anything wrong. In a democracy, opposition politicians have a duty to hold the Government to account.
“I was elected to the House of Commons precisely to do that and I certainly intend to continue doing so.”

NWN: Is this Zimbabwe or Britain ? What a state of affairs if we need to re-check our thoughts of this being the workings of a police state. We hope these coppers get a real rocket and the politicians behind the arrest get fired !

Leaked List Update:

The British National Party membership list that was uploaded online last week was taken from an Excel spreadsheet and mail merged into a text document that could be uploaded online.

At this years BNP training school Mark Collett took the mail merge class...

Is it becoming clear yet?

Thousands of ordinary men and women like you across this land are being subjected to the most sustained and vicious political witch-hunt ever seen in this country. Their ‘crime’? Being concerned enough about the future of their country to join the British National Party!
Experienced political commentators from around the world have been shocked by the bigoted actions and biased reporting of our press. Independent observers such as leading libertarian Dr. Sean Gabb are comparing the onslaught launched against us to the political witch hunts in the early days of the Soviet and Nazi regimes. Others are comparing the campaign against BNP members to the ‘KRISTALNACHT’ pogrom against the Jews in 1930s Nazi Germany - and with good reason.
Remember, first the Jews were publically named, then they were barred from certain occupations, the press then tried to whip up hatred against them and their rights to express themselves politically were removed. Finally it was open season on them and anybody else who dared question the totalitarian political elite. Windows were smashed, firebombs were thrown, and innocent people were hauled off to prison.
Is this not exactly what we are witnessing now, here in Britain, in 2008? The leaking of our members’ details was not the mere rash action of a disgruntled ex- employee. No! It is part of a co-ordinated campaign to stop our progress and rapid growth. The Powers That Be know that we stand a good chance of winning European seats next June, and that they have lost the battle to stop us politically, so now they are turning to intimidation, violence and mass arrests.
You see, the British National Party is gaining widespread recognition as the only party that could ever pull this nation together, the others have failed and now millions of ordinary Britons are looking towards the BNP as their only hope. The Establishment know that we are close to a massive political breakthrough.
This is too much for the ‘Troughminster’ politicians, and that is why they have unleashed the attack dogs of the media and the legions of the PC fanatics, trade union Marxists and every other hater of Britain they can muster.
Shame of leftist bullies
Yes, the attacks are hurting many good people, and yes, the sensationalist press coverage, the late-night threatening phone calls and the hate letters have been a source of anxiety to many. One poor lady (not even a member) came home from her husband’s funeral last Friday to find death threats against him on her answer phone because he was ‘on the list’.
However, the enemies of this country have badly misjudged the British character and our famous fighting spirit. Are we not heirs of those who stood, against all odds, at Agincourt? Did not our forebears hold fast the ‘thin red line’ on every continent in the world? Were not our ancestors those bold heroes who stood at Tilbury dock with good Queen Bess against the assembled hordes of Europe, and served heroically with Nelson and Wellington?
Unlike our fathers and Grandfathers, we have no Somme, Paschendale or Dunkirk to test our metal, but none the less we have our own battles to fight and this is a major test for us as Nationalists and British democrats. If our courage fails at the first sound of battle, then all is lost.
Our Finest Hour?
But I believe that the indomitable British spirit now stirring within the hearts of our people will cause them to rise in defence of liberty and our proud British heritage. AS A PARTY, THIS COULD WELL BE OUR FINEST HOUR! Being ‘on the list’ is a mark of honour, and people are now clamouring to join and be on it too!
Down through the travails of centuries many have tried to bully and silence the British people. ALL HAVE FAILED. Our enemies have always made the mistake of confusing the British love of fair play, decency and peace with ‘weakness’. They never understood that this was the secret of our strength. It takes a lot to rile the British, but when we are stirred from our slumber there is no dictator, people or force on earth that can suppress our spirit.
We never went looking for this fight, but now it has started we must stand fast in defence of every single member who feels threatened, harassed or intimidated. Employers who attempt to victimise our people will be challenged in court. Newspapers that deliberately whip up hatred against our people will also find themselves on the wrong end not only of legal action for receiving and misusing stolen property, but of well-thought out actions denied to hit their owners in their pockets. Police forces that fail to protect our people, or even worse try to join in the intimidation, will be called to account too.
Our people ARE the Party; therefore we will vigorously pursue all and every unlawful attack upon any individual. Our members will be protected and defended and I ask you now to donate to our People’s Defence Fund in order to provide the necessary means to secure our people proper legal representation and protection as they require, and to allow us to go on the campaign offensive.
Preparing our counter- attack
I have already held two intensive conferences with heavyweight lawyers and with an expert in peaceful direct action. Over the first couple of days of this all-out assault on the BNP’s very existence, senior colleagues and I were together forced to work flat out on what, as you know, turned into a very effective defensive action in the media. Now it’s time for us to counter-attack!
As well as our coming legal fight-back, we’re going to be organising hard-hitting political action too. We’ll make Liverpool’s politically correct police bullies wish they’d never tried to stamp out the BNP. We’re designing new Truth Truck ‘skins’ and we’re going to visit the owners and big shareholders of the Daily Mirror and tell their neighbours about their vicious campaign of intimidation, lies and incitement. These swine started this fight, but we’re going to win it!
Helping defend democracy
The campaign of media demonisation, police repression and intimidation by gangs of leftist thugs mobilised and endorsed by Labour cabinet ministers is not just an attack on the British National Party. It is an attack on the very essence of our democratic system and British way of life.
If you value this country and want to protect your children’s future, do not let our people stand alone. The Last Battle for our country is now raging; will you do your duty and rally to the brave old colours of the red, white and blue? You can support the Party, support democracy, and support the victims of Establishment bullying, by giving generously to the PEOPLE’S DEFENCE FUND...TODAY!Please use the form below to donate as much as you can afford to the Fight For Freedom:

Anti Spam

Beginners Step by Step Guide to dealing with Spam and Abusive Emails
Steve Blake
November 2008
Contact for assistance:

Readers of this tutorial will agree that the leak and publication, on the Internet, of a recent BNP membership list can only be described as one of the most disgraceful acts perpetrated against a legitimate political party in recent times.

That one act has placed at risk the jobs, livelihoods and physical well-being of many on that list. The leak can only serve the interests of the State – the Labour regime which would, if it could, round up every single BNP member, supporter and voter and pack us off to re-education camps to purge the supposed “racism” that lurks in every one of us, in the same way millions of dissidents were packed off to Siberian gulags during the terrors of Stalin’s regime.

I am shocked but not surprised that to learn that BNP HQ has not lifted a finger to help the ordinary activist and member who finds himself/herself on the receiving end of abusive telephone calls or now finds oneself the recipient of large amounts of spam. The current leadership seems wallowing in how much money and publicity has been generated from the national coverage of the debacle. This fact sheet is designed to help address the shortcomings from Central Office and to provide some help to those on the list who are now receiving both abusive emails and spam.

Don’t panic

There are others in the movement who are better prepared and far more knowledgeable in giving advice about one’s own personal security; most security measures boil down to plain commonsense. Seek advice from your local crime prevention panel. Senior citizens should ask for help from Help the Aged and Age Concern who can supply and fit additional security locks and chains to doors.
Don’t spend time worrying needlessly. Hundreds, if not thousands of people on that list have stood as candidates and election agents in recent years; reprisals have been rare. In addition the BNP has a number of councillors who represent wards existing cheek by jowl with wards populated largely by Muslims. I am not aware of any incidents where BNP councillors, who are very much in the public domain in these areas, have been attacked or harmed.

This fact sheet is designed to help members and others on that list deal with email communications, threats and spam.

Threatening emails

A. If you receive an email which makes a direct or indirect threat or contains material you consider to be offensive and racist abuse (“white trash” etc) you should keep the message. Emails are traceable and if anyone is stupid enough to make a threat via email they should be punished for their stupidity as well as their criminality.

1. Do not delete the message.

2. Print a copy of the message.

3. Have a look at the email address used to send the message. Some people are stupid enough to use their own work account or school/college account. This is a dead giveaway and easily dealt

4. Access what is known as the header and when you have that print a copy of the header. It is this header which contains the vital clues about the origin of the email message.

5. To view the header in Outlook Express (Windows Mail in Vista) take the following steps:

a. Double –click on the offending message which is in your inbox.
b. A new window opens, click on File on drop down menu, then click on Properties.
c. Click on the tab marked “Details”. In the window you will see what might appear to be gobble-de-gook but is in fact a list of information which allows a trained eye to determine the source of the message. In many cases it doesn’t point directly to an individual person but will give information on the network which was used to send the threatening message – it may be a school, university, government agency or an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
d. Next click on Message Source button. A separate window opens which should have something like “Return-Path: as the top line.
e. You want to copy all this information by pressing Ctrl key (lower left on keyboard) and the A key at the same time. Crtl-A highlights all the characters in that window. Next press Ctrl-C (that’s the Control key and the letter C) to copy the text to the computer’s memory.
f. Then open up your word processing application – MS Word for example. Paste this by pressing Ctrl-V and the text will be pasted into that document.
g. Print and save the document to your hard drive.

6. You can now do one of two things. First if you can see that the message comes from a recognisable institution such as a university (in the UK almost all colleges and universities will have email addresses in a format or Find the university’s web site which will be and find the details of the Head of the
IT dept or just the main switchboard number and ask to speak to Head of IT. Although he may not be responsible for discipline he/she is the first port of call and will be able to identify the individual responsible. Likewise if it is a local council which will have the format find the agency/department or local authority website.

7. If you cannot locate an obvious source or the message comes from a Hotmail account or Yahoo account and you are worried/offended by its contents take the message and the printed header to your local police and ask to make a complaint. In addition each ISP has its own abuse procedure, look it up and submit a complaint in the format described.

Dealing with Spam

B. If you are getting floods of messages from banks inviting you to verify your online bank accounts, buy pharmaceuticals, letters claiming to be the lawyers acting on behalf of Nigerian millionaires or African princes in exile you could just delete them. If however you are receiving many more than usual and it is wasting your time, here is how to fight back.

1. Some basic rules in dealing with Spam – NEVER EVER REPLY!
Spam emails will almost always invite you to unsubscribe from their mailing list. This is a way for the senders to confirm your email address is real. It will offer a link, or it will say something like 'Reply to this email with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject', never do it.

2. Make sure you have a spam filter – users of Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL and the other larger on line email systems have some inbuilt protection from the worst spam. If you are using Outlook Express (Windows Mail in Vista) you can set up “message rules” to help deal with Spam and this gives you a good degree of control.

3. Message Rules are located under Tools. Click on it and now select Message Rules and Mail – see image below if you are having difficulties.

4. Assuming you don't have any rules already defined, you should see the New Mail Rule window (see image below). This window consists of four boxes, the first is for Conditions, the second for Actions, the third for Description and the fourth for the Name. This is where you would be selecting one or more conditions and actions and specifying details for creating a message rule.

5. Message Rule Conditions - There are a total of 12 Conditions and you need to select one or more to create a message rule in Outlook Express. They are as follows and most of them are pretty straightforward. The most useful ones for dealing with spam are as follows:

• Where the Subject line contains specific words Filter email on the if certain words are found in the email subject line.
• Where the message body contains specific words Similar to above but scans the entire email message - email contents
6. Different Actions you can set up when creating message rules. Just like Conditions, you can select one or more of the Actions when creating your message rule. The most powerful action in dealing with spam is the following:
• Delete it from server
This prevents spam from reaching your computer... the email is deleted at the server.
7. Email message Rule Description - When creating message rules, the details of your conditions and actions are defined in the Rule Description box. Click on the hyperlink (in blue) e.g. contains
specific words. Here you enter the words you want to filter. Let’s say you are getting Spam which says “Online Security Notification” in the subject heading. Add the phrase in the dialogue box and then click Add. You will see it in the box below the dialogue box headed “Words”. Add another word or phrase – “Viagra” Add and continue the process. A lot of spam is about online
pharmaceuticals; “blue pill”, “levitra”, “cialis” are three other words you might wish to add.
8. Editing messages rules is easy. If after a few days you have successfully filtered out those emails but are getting spam messages which have the word “porn” in the subject heading you
can edit your message rule. Here’s how. Tools/Message Rules. If you just have the one message rule you will see that you can edit it by clicking on the blue text (hyperlink) in the box headed Rule description. Type in a specific word or phrase and click on Add.
Continue adding individual words and phrases. Click on OK to close the message rule window.

Worst case scenario

As a final measure if the spam filter provided by your ISP and your own message rules are not effective, a simple and often free step is to change your public email address. Let everyone you know and trust in your address book you have changed address and keep both addresses going for say a fortnight and then cease using the address which continues to receive the flood of spam.
How to Report SPAM emails in the United Kingdom
In the UK you have the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.
To report SPAM emails that have originated from the UK you can fill out a complaint form, this is a Microsoft Word document which you can find here:

For more on SPAM emails in the UK visit the Information Commissioner's website.:

Did Nick Griffin leak the list?

An interesting article from the NY Times and whispers emanating from ex and current BNP members would suggest he has.

The party list was easily obtained at another site that revels in publishing secrets online, The man who operates, John Young, wrote that as of Thursday, he had 2,000 to 3,000 downloads of the party list file. Asked if he had any limits on what personal material he would publish, Mr. Young wrote that his site focused on addresses, e-mail addresses and phone numbers “of public, mostly government, figures, and spies especially” — but usually not Social Security numbers.
Mr. Young argued that organizations like the British National Party often leak such material to get sympathy and show that their membership is full of regular people.
“I would guess the B.N.P. leak at 80 percent orchestrated,” he wrote. “The Brits are experts at this, perhaps the best.”
And true to that theory, the leader of the party, Nick Griffin, was quoted as saying that one good thing from the list’s being leaked was that it proved that the stereotype of his supporter as “a skinhead oik” was not true.

Readers will note the outcome from one of the outed as being the desired effect that Griffin was seeking.

“I think I will feel better as time goes on,” he said. “I am not losing sleep over it. I am just one of 12,000 people.”

Bernard Dineen: Thuggish BNP is helped by its enemies

Published Date: 24 November 2008

The witchunt against them is intolerable: a policeman suspended, a radio DJ sacked, an academic fearing dismissal. There have been threatening phone calls as well.It is not hard to see the influence of the Trotskyite Socialist Workers Party, which poses as our "protector" against the Nazi hordes – hence the Anti-Nazi League, which was an SWP front. The BNP and the SWP are equally detestable, but the SWP is more dangerous because of its sabotage of the Labour Party.

BNP Paedophiles

TWO paedophiles jailed for sex attacks on schoolgirls last week are named on the leaked list of British National Party members, we can reveal.
Perverts Ian Richard Hindle, 32, and Andrew Paul Wells, 49, plied two 14-year-olds with alcohol before subjecting them to sickening abuse.
Both men appear on a 12,000 strong BNP membership roll, alongside police officers, soldiers, doctors, prison officers—and even vicars.
The sex beasts’ membership will bring further shame to the far-right party.

Fury over £100million plan for hundreds of gypsy sites across the country

Fury over £100million plan for hundreds of gipsy sites across the country

Towns and villages across England are bracing themselves for 'bombshell' news on the location of hundreds of new and upgraded gipsy and traveller camps.
Work on some of the proposed 7,500 extra pitches will get the go-ahead within weeks under a controversial £97million scheme.
Targets imposed by the Government mean local authorities must provide a specified number of permanent sites with rubbish collection, running water, electricity and other services. In return travellers will have to pay rent and council tax.

Dr. Fred Toben released after 50 days in British jail: Victory for Revisionism

Fredrick Töben was released from jail in London today because the cowardly government lawyers dropped their appeal. He will return to Australia.

The government's probable reasoning: The application of the European Arrest Warrant to somebody who had broken no British law was barmy. The present Attorney General, Baroness Scotland, went unambiguously on record in 2003 in the House of Lords, assuring that such an application would not be possible.

Another account of Töben's victory is given in the Jailing Opinions site.

Breaking news - BBC website about to have story link on the BNP membership lists online
Link when we get it..............
From NWN reader:
Griffin puts out a statement and lies to BNP members.
"The timing and actual aim of this leak story is blatant: It was set running on Sunday evening, when the clique who co-ordinate virtually all anti-BNP campaigns would have been confident that the following day’s kangaroo court at the General Teaching Council would take away from Adam Walker his right to teach.

Had that been the result, the verdict would have been a big news story, which would have set things up perfectly for the follow-up publicity storm about thousands of BNP members being ‘exposed’ which would have broken over the rest of the week. Without a single person on the leaked list being persecuted purely for their views (because to do so is illegal), the public would have been left with the impression that the two stories were connected and that all of them would be hounded out like Adam was supposed to be on Monday."
No, it wasn't set running on Sunday. Look at the blog, it took 6 whole days for whoever it was to upload the data, and the blog URL was not handed out untill 9pm Monday night. Long after Walker had gone home from the Kangaroo Court.
Griffin is grasping at straws because the rebels are about to put him back in court for his disgraceful behaviour. The court case could cost the BNP a fortune, and by pointing the finger at the rebels, Griffin, is covering his back.

'Frankenstein' crops could be grown in secret to halt GM trial sabotage

GM crop trials should be carried out in secret or behind security fences in a bid to prevent saboteurs from ripping them out of the ground, it is claimed.
UK scientists and biotech companies are putting pressure on ministers to implement special protection measures.

They are understood to have support in government from Business Secretary Lord Mandelson, who is keen to support GM science and farming.

However, the proposals have been slammed by critics who say secret trials would expose vast areas of the country to disastrous GM contamination.

Conventional and organic farmers could find their crops are contaminated with GM pollen without any idea who is responsible.

The vast majority of consumers, supermarkets and food manufacturers in Britain and Europe have made clear they do not want GM crops and food.

Questions have been raised about GM farming techniques and their harm on the environment and beneficial insects such as bees.

Just last week, a study funded by the government of Austria suggested GM corn could harm fertility following a feeding trial with rats.

Experts at the University of Leeds claim they are being prevented from carrying out trials on GM potatoes and other crops for fear they will be wrecked by protestors.

They claim the only way to go ahead is either to keep their precise location a secret or spend many thousands of pounds on security fencing and guards.

They are considering asking a Government funding body, the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, to stump up £100,000 for fencing.

Thousands of Indian farmers are committing suicide after using genetically modified crops

When Prince Charles claimed thousands of Indian farmers were killing themselves after using GM crops, he was branded a scaremonger. In fact, as this chilling dispatch reveals, it's even WORSE than he feared.

The children were inconsolable. Mute with shock and fighting back tears, they huddled beside their mother as friends and neighbours prepared their father's body for cremation on a blazing bonfire built on the cracked, barren fields near their home.

As flames consumed the corpse, Ganjanan, 12, and Kalpana, 14, faced a grim future. While Shankara Mandaukar had hoped his son and daughter would have a better life under India's economic boom, they now face working as slave labour for a few pence a day. Landless and homeless, they will be the lowest of the low.

"Shankara's crop had failed - twice. Of course, famine and pestilence are part of India's ancient story.
But the death of this respected farmer has been blamed on something far more modern and sinister: genetically modified crops.
Shankara, like millions of other Indian farmers, had been promised previously unheard of harvests and income if he switched from farming with traditional seeds to planting GM seeds instead."

Manchester being 'bullied' by Government into accepting road tolls

The Government is threatening to withhold £1.5 billion of public funding for public transport in Manchester unless the city agrees to become a guinea pig for pay-as-you-drive road pricing.
Geoff Hoon, the Transport Secretary, said funding for new tram lines, extra buses and trains would be cancelled unless a majority of Greater Manchester's 1.8 million population voted “yes” in next month's road pricing referendum.
Mr Hoon's comments, in an interview with The Times, angered opponents of Manchester's proposed charging scheme. They accused the Government of trying to bully the city into voting for a tax on commuting by car.
Under the scheme, drivers would have electronic tags fitted to their cars and set up prepaid accounts. Up to £5 a day would be deducted automatically from their accounts as they passed roadside beacons on an inner and outer ring around the city.

Unlike in London, where motorists pay £8 a day to travel any distance inside the charging zone, drivers in Manchester would pay only at peak times in the busiest direction of travel. Ministers fear that a “no” vote in Manchester will end any hope of introducing charging across the country for at least a decade. They realise that few people want another tax, but are hoping they will vote “yes” if they believe that is the only way to secure record investment and 10,000 extra jobs.
Mr Hoon said Manchester would not get the funding without road pricing. “There is no Plan B. I would not want people to be under any illusion about that,” he said.
Asked if Manchester would get even a small proportion of what it needed if it voted “no”, Mr Hoon said: “None whatsoever. If the vote is ‘no', there will be no central government funding. The rules are very clear.”
Mr Hoon said the money earmarked for Manchester would be given to other cities. He said: “There will be plenty of other cities looking to take up the opportunity if Manchester doesn't.”
He also said that the Government would increase its budget for rewarding cities that introduced road pricing. The Department for Transport has already allocated £200 million a year for the next ten years, a total of £2 billion, for congestion charging schemes across the country.
Mr Hoon said the total amount on offer would be increased if Manchester voted “yes”. “We will find more money for other cities,” he said.
This means that an even greater proportion of government funding for transport projects would be linked to road pricing. Cities wanting a share of the money would have no choice but to introduce some form of congestion charging. Cambridge, Bristol and Leeds are considering charging schemes as a way of securing central government funding.
Graham Stringer, Labour MP for Manchester Blackley and a member of the Commons Transport Select Committee, said: “This is last-minute bullying by Mr Hoon. It shows how worried they are about losing.” Nigel Humphries, spokesman for the Association of British Drivers, said: “The Government is holding a gun to Manchester's head. They know congestion charging is unpopular, but they are trying to introduce it by the back door by picking on a city which has been trying for years to get the money to expand its tram system.”
A spokesman for the Yes Campaign said: “The Transport Secretary could not have been more clear. Unless Manchester votes ‘yes', the opportunity to transform its public transport infrastructure will be lost for a generation.”
The Conservatives oppose national road pricing, but support local charging schemes. They have said they would abide by the result of the Manchester referendum.
The Association of Greater Manchester Authorities has announced a number of exemptions and discounts from the proposed charge in order to attract more “yes” votes.
Drivers on minimum wages will get a 20 per cent discount for at least the first two years; the maximum anyone will pay has been cut from £10 to £5 a day, and employees on the Trafford Park industrial estate will be exempt for three years. The association had already pledged not to introduce the charge until 2013, by which time 80 per cent of the transport improvements would have been made.
The question posed in the postal referendum does not mention road pricing, though the preamble on the ballot paper refers to it twice. The question says: “Do you agree with the Transport Innovation Fund proposal?”

NWN: Another of those NWO votes, and if the vote turns up a 'NO', then they will have another vote till they get the vote they want. Then no more !

White, British, need a job?

20,000 migrant workers register for London Olympics jobs - despite pledge to provide work for local people

Promises of a 'skills legacy' from the London Olympics were in doubt today as it emerged that 20,000 migrant workers had registered for jobs in the main 2012 borough in the past year.
The surge in new National Insurance numbers in Newham has prompted concerns over pledges to provide thousands of skilled construction jobs to the local community.

About 2,700 workers are on the Olympics site, rising to 9,000 by 2010. Estimates of the number of migrant workers there - mostly from Poland and Baltic states within the European Union - range from 10 to 70 per cent.

According to the Olympic Delivery Authority's last month employment figures for the Olympic Park, 58 per cent of the 2,700 workforce were resident in London and 24 per cent from the East End. However, the figures do not indicate the worker's nationality - or how long they have lived in Britain.

Labour MP Frank Field, who published the National Insurance figures, said: 'It is totally lawful but British taxpayers and lottery players are paying for jobs for foreign workers and it is not what we signed up for."'

The ODA has promised a skills legacy for east London and is in the forefront of the Government's agenda under which Gordon Brown promised 'British jobs for British workers'.

The ODA has a plant training school at the Olympic Park and says one in 10 of its workforce was previously unemployed. But the ODA is also under pressure to balance its books after losing £500million in private sector investment in a year with the credit crunch and, according to unions, has targeted savings on labour costs.

Construction workers' union Ucatt is increasing pressure on the ODA to continue to honour agreed minimum site rates. It is thought that migrant workers hired through agencies are typically paid up to £2 less per hour than their British counterparts.

Osama bin Laden is Dead

Bob Moriarty
Nov 13, 2008

I'm pleased to see Barak Obama hit the ground running after his election on the 4th. The US needs change.

I'd like to see him announce the death of Osama bin Laden as one of his first official duties. Bin Laden often better known as bin Forgotten died in December of 2001. There is nothing I am saying that is news to anyone who has actually spent any time thinking.

Osama bin Laden had serous kidney disease that required him to have dialysis treatment twice a week. There aren't any dialysis machines floating around in the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan. A few months back a reporter finally asked the question that should have been asked years ago at a White House press conference.

How is it that a guy who was seriously ill seven years ago is getting treatment for end-stage renal disease in some cave in Afghanistan? The woman conducting the press conference panicked at the thought of answering that most basic question and immediately canceled the rest of the briefing.

The United States does not need a boogieman living in a cave in Asia. Osama bin Laden is dead. Barak Obama should be honest enough with the American people to declare him dead.

Here are the facts.

The last intelligence intercept of Osama bin Laden was on December 14 of 2001. He has not been heard from since.

President Bush and Defense Secretary Rumsfeld hinted in late December of 2001 that they knew Osama bin Laden was dead.

President Musharraf of Pakistan announced in January of 2002 that Osama bin Laden was probably dead of kidney disease.

President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan was quoted in October of 2002 as saying, "The more we don't hear of him, and the more time passes, there is the likelihood that he probably is either dead or seriously wounded somewhere."

But the actions of the US Military are the most telling. There isn't a single soldier, sailor or Marine tasked with chasing down Osama bin Laden, dead or alive. Because we know exactly where he is. He's dead. So the US military is either totally or absolutely incompetent or Osama bin Laden died years ago and we've been fighting the boogieman.

As early as July of 2002, even the FBI's counterterrorism chief was quoted as saying; Osama bin Laden is "probably" dead.

The US does not need a boogieman; we have real challenges ahead of us. We need a President who will not lie to us on a constant basis.

While you are at it Mr President Elect, you may want to mention that Iran never threatened to wipe Israel off the map and 16 US Intelligence agencies all agree [pdf] Iran does not have a nuclear weapons program. But you knew that, didn't you? Iran is neither the enemy of the United States nor Israel.

Is your home being repossessed?

Beating house repossession is easy.
Become a Muslim until the recession blows over.
Imagine a mortgage lender who allows you to take all the increase in the price of your home when you sell, but is prepared to share any loss if the property has fallen in value. Such a deal may seem too good to be true in the current property market, but it is exactly what a handful of banks specialising in Islamic home loans are offering.

Islamic mortgages have been in the mainstream market in the UK for some years but it can often be difficult to get to grips with sharia-compliant financial products, which can seem confusing. In Islam, making money from money by charging interest is deemed unfair and is not permitted. So where do you start when choosing an Islamic mortgage?

There are three models of Home Purchase Plans (HPPs): Ijara, which means 'lease' in Arabic; Musharaka, which means 'partnership'; and Murabaha, meaning 'profit'. Depending on the model, the lender will levy rent or add profit to the amount you pay back instead of charging interest.
The rent description of Sharia mortgages is very valuable indeed, because a Muslim being made unemployed cannot lose his home, instead, they are allowed to claim HOUSING BENEFIT to cover the cost of their mortgages because their mortgages are known as RENT.

Should History be Decided in a Courtroom?

Dr. Frederick Toben – Why is he in Prison in London?

Background: Dr. Toben is an Australian citizen and founder and director of the Adelaide Institute and author of works on education, political science and history.

He completed a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Stuttgart in 1977.
In 1999 he was imprisoned for nine months at Mannhein, Germany for breaching Germany's Holocaust Law, Section 130.

In 2002 a judgement was passed in the Federal Court of Australia that prohibits him from questioning/denying the three pillars on which the >Holocaust-Shoah<> stands

Integrity: the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change

The following letter gives a good summary of the issues involved and was written at the time of Dr. Toben’s 1999 imprisonment in Germany, by Robert Faurisson - a former French Professor of literature.

My friend Frederick Toben – by Robert Faurisson

If my Australian friend Frederick Toben is in jail in Germany it is for three reasons--factors for which I share responsibility.
First, he became a convinced revisionist essentially by reading my own historical material, of which he has published several articles and essays in translation in his country.
Second, after visiting me for the first time in Vichy (France), he decided to investigate the alleged Nazi gas chambers at Auschwitz (Poland) in exactly the way in which I had advised him to do so: essentially, to examine the remains of the so-called Nazi gas chamber or Krematorium-II in Birkenau and thus see with his own eyes that there were no holes in the roof for the alleged pouring of Zyklon B pellets, and to remark, consequently, that no gassing operation could ever even have begun in that place, the center of the entire "Holocaust" story. In other words, to state: No hole, no "Holocaust."

Third, it is because, after his second visit, that he decided to go and put some questions to a public prosecutor in Mannheim named Heiko Klein, although Dr. Toben and I both knew that he might well be arrested and thrown in jail.

A man deeply attached to his native land and sincerely distressed by the Niagara of lies told about Germany, F. Toben wanted to achieve something that no revisionist had yet done. I am the one who supplied him with the tools for the job in the form of the following ideas:
*On the one hand, we have "exterminationists" asserting that Germany committed an unprecedented crime, especially with an unprecedented weapon.
*On the other hand, we have "revisionists" asserting that this is a lie, a defamation, a calumny.

*The question is, "Who is right?"

*Where should such a question be put? Should it not be in Germany first, the people being, in principle, the most concerned?

*More precisely, the question should be put to "Bonn" (in April 1999, when F. Toben last visited me, Berlin was not yet the capital of Germany), or to "Ludwigsburg," or to "Arolsen-Waldeck."
*The trouble is that "Bonn" is interested in "political truths," not historical truths. The job of "Ludwigsburg" is essentially to define official truths about this or that camp. "Arolsen-Waldeck" closed its "Historische Abteilung" in 1978 precisely because the place was being visited by people asking questions.

And I said to my friend F. Toben that he should go and visit not an institution in Germany but an individual German, and as a matter of fact, the right man in the right place was the public prosecutor, Heiko Klein, the individual who seemed most certain of his right to jail people who did not respect the official truth about Auschwitz.
I remarked to him that he would thus be the first to go and ask an individual in authority: "Why exactly do you throw revisionists into jail?" He would in this way get the answer straight form the proverbial horse's mouth.

This had never yet been done by any revisionist "in camera clausa," eye to eye. It would be as if, in 1610, someone visited the presiding judge who had found Galileo Gailei guilty of heresy. Should we not be keen to have the account of that man? From a historical point of view, it would be very valuable today to get an individual answer from Pontius Pilate (assuming that the story of Jesus and Pilate is not mere fiction).

Of course. Heiko Klein is not a judge, only a prosecutor. Still, his power in the matter is considerable. His name will go down in history as that of a major figure in a major historical problem. Why not go and visit this man, even at the risk of being jailed? History deserves that such risks are undertaken and sacrifices made, for its sake.
When on the walk back toward his car at the conclusion of our meeting, I remarked to him: "Frederic, you know, don't you, that you may go to jail?," he replied, "Yes."
I said "Good luck!," and I, for one, thought that we revisionists were fortunate to have such people on our side.

There you have essentially what I would say if ever I were allowed to testify in court on behalf of my friend Frederick Toben.

Conclusion: Is it not time that free discussion of historical events is allowed in Society as well as at Universities and other learning institutions? What is there to hide? The truth is a pre-requisite for the integrity and advancement of society.

Grim reality of why the West's white race is now a dying breed

We will have to change societal rules devised in the 1960s and 1970s if we are to halt the steady decline in the western population, writes Desmond Fennell

LAST WEEK the news came from the United States that white people will be in a minority there in 2042, eight years sooner than previously predicted, according to US government projections. The reason for this is that in North America, as in Europe, the white population is not reproducing itself.

White women in western societies are producing on average fewer, sometimes much fewer, than 2.1 children per woman - the number of children required for the maintenance of a population. As things stand, therefore, the white race in the West is a dying breed.

There have been many instances of human groups not reproducing themselves, to the point of self-extinction or absorption into larger groups. The most common case has been a previously isolated tribe, when an outside agency has invaded and disrupted its way of life. The set of behavioural rules its members had worked out for themselves, and that made sense to them as a framework for life, gets disordered beyond repair.

They find themselves trying to live by a combination of rules that are partly remnants of their system, partly alien rules imposed on them. This haphazard combination does not make sense to them as a framework for life. So increasingly the will to reproduction flags, because it does not make sense to them to bear children into a senseless life.

It is likely that there is a similar reason for the flagging will of white westerners to reproduce their kind. Their historical background is in European or western civilisation which first took shape around a thousand years ago. That its core set of rules made sense is evidenced by its long endurance and by the mighty will to reproduce which it generated. Westerners overflowed from Europe to populate much of the world.

Then, beginning at the end of the second World War, white westerners, first in the United States, then in America's post-war European satellites, embarked on a great experiment. For the best of reasons - the pursuit of more justice, wealth and empowerment for all - they replaced many of the rules of European civilisation with new rules. Or rather, their democratic governments did this, employing left-liberals as their ethical guides, and enjoying enthusiastic support from the business corporations. The main rush of rule change took place in the 1960s and 1970s. Most white westerners, especially the younger generations, have made the new rules their own and have been living by them, or trying to.

The new collection of rules includes some of the old rules. It covers every sphere of behaviour: personal, interpersonal, male and female, parental and juvenile. It comprises, besides dos and don'ts, do-as-you-like rules.

People always assess for sense the collection of rules presented to them as a framework for life. They do so instinctively, drawing on generations of inherited experience. The point I am making is that this new collection of rules which white westerners have given themselves probably does not pass that litmus test. Probably it strikes growing numbers of them, deep down, as senseless, and therefore as a life framework which it does not make sense to bear children into.

That would not be surprising, given that it was thrown together in a very short time and based on idealistic theories rather than lived experience.

I have in mind an instructive parallel from the history of the Soviet Union. There, too, led by Russia, an idealistic experiment in rule-making was undertaken, with Marxist-Leninism as the ethical guide. In the latter years of that experiment, Russians noted with dismay an increasing fall in their fertility rate. The prospect appeared that they would become a minority in relation to the growing populations of the Union's Asian republics. In those populations, strong inherited cultures had rendered the impact of the Marxist-Leninist rules much lighter or next to null.

It is unlikely, even if the explanation I am offering for the flagging fertility of white westerners is accepted as valid, that any serious corrective measures will be undertaken. Our post-European collection of rules is the basis on which our successful consumerist system has been built, and everyone in power wants that to continue.

But if the reality were different, and white westerners could act in their own long-term interest, they would institute an authoritative, critical examination of their prevailing rules system. And that would begin - but only begin - by scrutinising the prevailing, "politically correct" rules that bear on women's lives, and particularly on motherhood.

Unemployment highest for nearly 10 years

The Government was hit by a fresh bout of bad economic news today when unemployment reached its worst level for almost a decade.

There were 1.72 million people out of work in the three months to July, up by 81,000 from the previous quarter and the highest total since the spring of 1999.

The number of people claiming jobseeker's allowance rose for the seventh month in a row in August, by 32,500 to 904,900 - the biggest monthly hike since December 1992.
The Office for National Statistics said the trend on both the claimant count and the wider number of jobless was increasing.

The number of workers in manufacturing continued to fall, down by 42,000 in the latest quarter to 2.87 million, the lowest since records began 30 years ago.
There was also the first fall for more than a year in the UK's employment level, down by 16,000 to 29.54 million in the three months to July.

Today's data showed that the number of workers in the public sector in June was 5.77 million, up by 13,000 over the quarter, while private sector employment was down by 29,000 to 23.77 million.

Vacancies were also down to their lowest level for more than a year to 613,200 after a fall of 56,900 in the quarter to August.

Economic inactivity also rose, with the number of people on long-term sick leave, looking after a relative, students or who have given up looking for a job up by 4,000 to 7.86 million - 20 per cent of the working age population.
Average earnings increased by 3.5 per cent in the year to July, up by 0.1 per cent from the previous month.

Wages grew by 3.3 per cent in the public sector compared with 3.5 per cent in private firms.
The number of days lost through industrial disputes in July was 363,000, the highest monthly total for more than two years, largely as a result of strikes by local government workers.
The annual total to July was 1.1 million, almost double the figure for the previous year.

Full-time and part-time employment levels fell back in the latest quarter, although the figures also showed an increase in the total number of jobs in the UK, up by 26,000 to 31.68 million.
Around 138,000 people were made redundant in the three months to July, up by 28,000 from the previous quarter - the highest figure for over a year.

The TUC warned today that the number of people out of work for at least a year could almost double to 700,000 by the end of 2009.

The union organisation said total unemployment could hit two million by next year, partly as a result of the Government's tougher benefits regime.

Unions ready to flex their money muscle

Labour rejects union rights

Scores of Labour MPs who are funded by trade unions voted against legislation aimed at easing the Tory anti-union laws last week.

The New Labour government went back on its promise, made in 2005 as part of the Warwick Agreement, to support the changes.

The TUC and all the major unions backed a series of amendments to the Employment Bill.
One would have banned employers from being able to hire agency workers to do the jobs of striking staff, and force them to inform employment agencies that there was a dispute to avoid an excuse of ignorance.

Another would have forced employers to provide contact details for workers to a union seeking an industrial action ballot.

This would have reduced the administrative burden on unions.

Just 44 Labour MPs could bring themselves to vote in line with policies the unions support.

Just 15 Labour MPs supported the unions having the right to expel without penalty British National Party members and other fascists.

This amendment was not even put to the vote because of the lack of support.

Union members should demand that all union support is withdrawn from those Labour MPs who voted against these measures.

The unions don't support democracy, free speech, or self determination, then?
Oh no, we never knew that.............................

Third World British Health Care

Scandal of care at top children's hospital
• Parents 'lied to' about poor treatment

• Inquiry ordered after doctors' claims

Treatment at one of Britain's leading children's hospitals is worse than that in the developing world, according to a damning doctors' report uncovered by The Observer which also reveals how parents are "told lies" to cover up sub-standard care.

In the document, which the head of the Royal College of Surgeons describes as alarming, consultants are scathing about the Birmingham Children's Hospital. Last night MPs called for a full inquiry into the quality of care at the hospital, where children are treated for life-threatening conditions such as liver or kidney failure, neurological problems and chronic heart complaints.
The report was commissioned by the NHS primary care trusts in Birmingham that fund the hospital after senior doctors at the hospital and the neighbouring University Hospital Birmingham, including world-renowned experts in paediatric care, complained that their repeated attempts to raise the alarm had been ignored. The report reveals that:

• Doctors lie to parents about why their child has undergone a major operation because they cannot admit that the hospital lacks the personnel and infrastructure to conduct safer procedures.
• Support for surgeons undertaking kidney transplants is so poor that consultants felt they had received better back-up when performing such procedures on a visit to Lagos, the capital of Nigeria.
• Transplant services for children with serious liver failure are so poor that they constitute "a third-class service [which is] putting patients at risk".
• Children with neurological problems have been involved in "close calls" - potential threats to their health - because of delays in getting them admitted to the right specialist ward. Nurses who work on the ward are resigning because of dangers to patients.
• Staff who support surgeons during complex operations do not recognise which surgical instrument has been requested, causing delays.
• Doctors no longer report safety risks because "there is no point" as hospital managers do not respond with action.
• Specialist services for very ill children with rare conditions "are being allowed to wither on the vine" because of a lack of resources and poor management.

Paul O'Connor, the hospital's chief executive, insisted last night that 'there is no immediate clinical risk to any patients at the hospital' but yesterday after being contacted by The Observer he commissioned Dr Jane Collins, his counterpart at London's Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, to conduct an inquiry and produce a report that he pledged to publish.

A Department of Health spokeswoman last night said it took such matters 'extremely seriously' adding: 'The Department of Health is waiting to receive the findings of this investigation. When we do we will consider these findings very carefully and respond.'

John Black, president of the Royal College of Surgeons of England demanded urgent action last night. 'It's alarming to read this report. It's unusual, to say the least, for a group of internationally known consultants to say that the paediatric service is third class and putting patients at risk.

'The report has highlighted real problems. It's a relief that it doesn't say that harm has occurred, but the consultants are saying that in their opinion patients are being put at risk. I would think that this report should ensure that, before the risk turns into an actual event, this should be acted upon.'

Steve McCabe, a government whip and MP for Birmingham Hall Green, said: 'It's very alarming to read that there's very poor management at the children's trust, leading to unnecessary waiting lists and putting lives at risk. It's very worrying that senior clinicians and consultants are making these claims but are not prepared to report incidents formally, thus allowing them to be swept under the carpet. There needs to be a much more thorough investigation.'

Jonathan Fielden, chairman of the British Medical Association's consultants' committee, said the report showed hospital managers had not listened to concerns raised by its most senior doctors and put financial concerns ahead of improving care for highly vulnerable patients.

Andrew Lansley, the shadow Health Secretary, called for an 'urgent' response. 'Birmingham Children's Hospital has some fine staff. I would be very worried if they expressed concerns like these. This is something the board will want to urgently respond to.'

Last night Lisa Weale, who criticised the quality of care at the hospital after her four-month-old son, Thomas, died there in December 2004, welcomed the report's publication.

'I am not surprised by what this report has found and I am glad that this is being highlighted. I knew that it was not only us who had been through such bad treatment. I feel the hospital have been getting away with this silently.'

She said a recent letter of apology from the hospital was 'too little, too late'. She and her partner Jason Smith have received an out-of-court settlement over the death of their son.

Porn good-BNP bad

Wearside internet porn teacher could return to class

A WEARSIDE man could be allowed to teach again despite looking at internet porn during school hours. Darren Adamson, 36, admitted also calling sex phone lines while head of English at Houghton Kepier School in Houghton-le- Spring, near Sunderland.

He is the second teacher to have been suspended by the same school for accessing material online in school time.

British National Party (BNP) member Adam Walker, 39, left his post last year after admitting contributing to an online forum in work time.

Walker also faces a General Teaching Council (GTC) hearing.

The GTC said while there was no evidence pupils knew what Adamson was doing, his actions were “wholly inappropriate”.

Their ruling added: “There was clearly a risk that a pupil may have entered a room when such images were on screen.”

Adamson was sacked for gross misconduct by the school, but remains on the teaching register.

But Margaret Morrissey, spokeswoman for Parents Outloud, said: “It is absolutely unacceptable. Whatever this teacher’s excuses, he knows it should not be done, certainly not on school premises, on school equipment and by a school teacher. This is one of those areas where there is no room for debate.

“If you do this you should know that you will lose your job and end your professional career. There is not a parent in the land who would want this man standing in front of a class.”

A professional conduct hearing of the GTC was told Adamson used the secondary school’s internet system to log on to a number of websites when he should have been teaching during April and May last year.

He also used preparation time to dial “premium rate” numbers, between November 2006 and March 2007.

The GTC ruled the case was “particularly serious as he should have set an example and was in a position of particular trust and authority.”

Adamson was not present at the hearing, but written accounts from him and his wife said he had experienced “considerable difficulties and anxiety in his personal life”. The committee said Adamson’s conduct had brought “the standing and reputation of the teaching profession into serious disrepute”.

The GTC issued an order stating Adamson must produce a report from a psychiatrist demonstrating he was fit to teach before he could work again.

A spokesman for Sunderland City Council said: “As Mr Adamson’s employer, the school took immediate action to suspend the teacher pending an inquiry as soon as the misuse came to light during a routine audit of the school’s IT system.

“Following a full investigation carried out by the school, during which all aspects of Child Protection issues were thoroughly considered, along with the adult nature of the sites visited and the fact they were not accessed during lesson times into account, a disciplinary hearing was held.

“Mr Adamson did not deny the allegations and was dismissed for gross Misconduct in September 2007 by the school’s governing body.”
