Three more soldiers die in Afghanistan

Troops are in Helmand province as part of a Nato forceThree British soldiers have lost their lives in separate attacks in Afghanistan, the MoD has said.

Officials had already announced the death of a soldier in a mine explosion in Helmand province.

They later said a soldier had been killed and another seriously injured by insurgency forces at 0800 local time.

A soldier from 1st Battalion Royal Irish Regiment, who was seriously injured in an incident last Friday, died from his injuries.
