Prison officers' Poppy Day rap

TWO prison officers face disciplinary action after they held a Remembrance Sunday collection.

Steve Baines, 43, and Paul Leigh, 50, have been warned they are in breach of prison rules over the whip-round.

HMP Liverpool used to pay for a wreath and transport costs for its officers wanting to pay tribute to the fallen out of public funds.

But this time top brass said the prison would not foot the bill – so Steve and Paul organised a staff collection and raised £400. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article422553.ece
