Good Luck Tess

A total of 26 candidates - half of them independents - will contest the by-election sparked by the resignation of senior Tory David Davis as an MP.
The ex-shadow home secretary quit to generate a debate on civil liberties, especially the government's 42-day detention limit for terror suspects.
Neither Labour nor the Liberal Democrats will field a candidate in Haltemprice and Howden on 10 July.
At the 2005 general election, Mr Davis won with a majority of 5,116.
It is thought to be the highest number of candidates ever to stand at a by-election in recent times.

Here is the full list of candidates:

Grace Christine Astley - Independent
David Laurence Bishop - Church of the Militant Elvis Party
Ronnie Carroll - Make Politicians History

The BNP could have gained tons of publicity fighting this, but we know why they aren't.

FUCKING STATE OPERATED SCUMBAGS ON THE TAKE.

"FUCKING STATE OPERATED SCUMBAGS ON THE TAKE."

Agreed, the BNP is a dead duck. If the NF keep this up they'll be regaining old timers who left for the BNP only to find out Griffin was filth. All the best to Tess, and I hope her leaflets are batter than Raits in Henley.

How many of these candidates that are standing are state party's lab sponsored candidates, how many are real people ,it seams that a lot of people have got £500 to literary throw away for a miserly less than a 100 votes i have never seen as many nutty names of people or with such daft titles and names standing.how have these nutty people with nutty titles got the nomination papers signed.
It all brings serious politics in to disrepute and makes the whole election into a Whitehall farce madhouse.
Every one will do badly except David Davis who will come up smelling of roses and a publicity coo for his con party to use in the general election when called.
keith axon.

Davis's vote might not be what he thinks. The working classes don't like that he's costing them money with this by election.

Miss Great Britain, Gemma whatshername may bring her boyfriend Shaun Wright-Philips along campaigning, seems he's never going to play for Chelsea again and he may get a contract with Hull City's under 12's!

Why did the BNP fight Henley where they had zero chance but declined to fight Crew in Cheshire where they had a decent chance? Crew a working class town flooded with foreign workers and with no work for the indiginous population. The British labour voters there are so p***ed off with Labour that they voted a Tory in. The first time Labour had not won the Crew seat. And the BNP thought it not worth standing a candidate. Why? (but it's worth standing a BNP candidate in tory safe no hope for the BNP Henley)
Richard Chadfield.

Good question and one that i struggle to understand.
Crewe would have been far better territory for the BNP, and could have had the establishment worried-maybe that's why we didn't stand!

A lot of this is Eddy 'election guru' Butler's fault.

How so? Read your constitution if you can get a copy without being told to "Fuck Off" or "You're a Red"

It clearly states "The Chairmans world is final"

"The Chairmans world is final"

I meant "word" but world would work just as well :)

....It now seems that Bev Jones is working R. Chadfield, a bit like the Crankies - or is that Little and Bloody Large.

This seat is in East Yorkshire (or rather the East Ridings of Yorkshire).

Yorkshire was not long since the stongest area for the BNP. Now it is on its arse.

Griffin expelled Dawson and sidelined Beverley, and with it the two best assets the region had.

I know for sure that we'd have a candidate standing if Griffin had not fucked up so much.

Why doesn't Hannam stand - the seat is near him.

Griffin expels his best assets and most competent people as he sees them as a threat to his money spinning empire. He is a shit house.

This site would like to offer our very small help to Tess Culnane in her endeavours for the NF.

Tess is a lovely lady whom I met at a meeting in Wigan a few years back.

Good luck to Tess Culnane.

There's not much time, but let's do what we can to make this a good campaign.
