One definition of ideology;
An ideology is an organized collection of ideas.
The word ideology was coined by Count Destutt de Tracy in the late 18th century to define a "science of ideas."
An ideology can be thought of as a comprehensive vision, as a way of looking at things (compare Weltanschauung), as in common sense (see Ideology in everyday society) and several philosophical tendencies (see Political ideologies), or a set of ideas proposed by the dominant class of a society to all members of this society.
The main purpose behind an ideology is to offer change in society through a normative thought process (what the world ought to be). Ideologies tend to be abstract thoughts applied to reality and thus make this concept unique to politics.
Ideology is what helped 'older nationalists' get through the mass hysteric attacks both social and physical attacks. We often wonder what this new breed would make of attending demonstrations such as Lewisham 1977, Haringey 1977, Bradford 1974 to name a few.
No we were not big hard skinheads, we had many older men & women at such demos , the name of old Esther Sizer springs ready to mind . She was physically knocked through a brick wall at Lewisham, and she was in her 70's even then.
It was our ideology that made us, it strengthened us. It provided the answers. Anyone who has ever been a BNP Press spokesman had to rely on it , otherwise the 'press hounds' would have crucified us.
We in NWN, would urge that a return to our ideological centre as the ONLY way forward. It is this denial of our own ideological base that has caused all the continual friction within the BNP since 1999, because there is no consistency of policy now.
Policies change on the mere whim of a charlatan, though no-one seems to question him, and if they do no-one gets any answers, for example; the Sharon Ebanks case. This site will wager, that there will be no answers to all the allegations put by M/s.Ebanks.
What there will be, is a hate campaign of smears against her.
She will NOT be allowed to rejoin the BNP under any circumstance, so all those that have written on Stormfront saying that 'should happen' ought to review the history of Nick Griffin.
With Griffin it is the hard "either....or" .
It was a harrowing sight to read of the many who are seemingly BNP members, who actually supported and posted messages in support of a member of the BNP security team posing in porno pictures recently . Those pictures were a sign of a decadence that is pervading the BNP and other areas of nationalism. We cannot have senior officials of the party getting up to such stuff.
How now can we call 'them' , when some of our own are getting caught doing the same ?
Decadence is a sickness in any society. Without help, any sickness gets worse.
It's about time we thought about our lack of political direction...........
