A NWN reader has just sent us the following:
"On June the 4th the political landscape of Britain could change forever, this really is our chance and we must grab it with both hands.Every member can do their bit to aid our success, how often can one play their part in making history?
I am appealing to all our Scottish members to become active, if possible, in promoting the British National Party by purchasing 1000 leaflets (a snip at £15) and delivering them around their hometowns or city areas.
This is a low key way of spreading our message you don’t have to be high profile just an enjoyable stroll around your neighbourhood dropping off leaflets.
We have dedicated officials across Scotland and a committed team of activists who have worked tirelessly since the beginning of the year staging paper sales and high profile leafleting events throughout the country and now I am asking for your help.
Order your EU election leaflets from despatch@bnp.org.uk today and help get our message of hope to the people of Scotland.
From the Lowlands to the Highlands we have members living in city, town, and village, now is our time, YOUR PARTY NEEDS YOU, YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU! Join us in this the second battle of Britain, together we can make a difference, together we can win!"

Griffin is a fucking greedy bastard
That works out at £75 per 5000 leaflets.
Cheaper to go here
http://www.handy-print.co.uk/
5000 leaflets at £35
Griffin and Collett are greasy greedy bastards.
Don't they know that the 'jocks' are, shall we say, 'careful with their money' ?
Does that include post and packing?
Should be scope for more profit there.
Anonymous - I don't know what the paper and printing spec is for this BNP leaflet - but I would imagine as a minimum it is two colour two sides A5 on 130gsm gloss. That works out at £195 for 5000 at the website you advertised. If it were A4 it would be £253 for the 5000 - folded another £30. I'm pretty sure the £15 - £75 per 5000 - is more than reasonable. I only say this because (a) I'm a printer so would naturally be interested in prices, & (b) I used to deliver UKIP's national party leafelts around the country. Not at all cheap nor that easy! I don't mind having a go at the BNP (or anybody really) if they were making an exhorbitant profit - but in this case - I really don't think so.
Utter codswallop! If anyone can give me a realistic reason why having one, maybe three M.E.P.s will really benefit nationalism and US, I will change my views.
No B.S. mind! I am more than aware that M.E.P.s are toothless and powerless.

Actually having MEPs is a disbenefit. It raises expectations of change which will be dashed. That's why the press is giving it the push. To demoralise nationalists. It also allows for juicy copy about the high life in Brussels while we rot at home.
From the scottish leader - you mean the race mixer who is friends with homos?
The one who stabbed several folk in the back, the psychopant that would have his nose permanantly up Griffin's arse if it were not for the geographical distance (and collett being up there).
The one who was trying to promote a NC certificated (not even a higher level certificate) as lead candidate for the Euro's.
The one who could not organise a piss up in a brewery (better stay away from breweries actually seeing as he is an Alcoholic)
There is no point in standing in Scotland as they do not have the activists to do a proper campaign - you see the usual 3 or 4 travel from Glasgow allover the place and also 2 or 3 from the North East.
The Scottish printer who always gave a fantastic price is refusing to work with Nick Griffin & Co.

You miss the point. The BNP claim to have printed 27 million? of these leaflets. This would greatly reduce the cost?
Economies of scale !
So that's about seven regular activists in Scotland.
How many elsewhere? Rather few one suspects with the constant expulsions and people who leave when they find what it's really like.
My guess is that there are really few more activists than when John Tyndall was running it. Does anyone have any evidence about numbers?
Don't they know that the `jocks' are, shall we say, 'careful with their money'?
With our money too.
Hooch hi, sasanachs.

I agree with your economies of scale remark anonymous (although the 27 million run was not made clear in the article). But it still seems a very good price to me. I doubt the party will make too much profit on it. Particularly if postage is included. On these type of leafelt runs, although the party advertises them for sale, there are very often used by the party itself in by-elections. A lot of wastage can occur too. And, I don't know about the BNP, but I always used to always add a few on each batch (for luck!). It would cost a local group or individual a couple of hundred pounds and a lot of messing around to get the same leaflets printed.
So £15 still looks like pretty good value to me - and if the BNP do make a few bob out of the sale - well I'm sure the BNP member doing the buying won't mind.
`Griffin is a fucking greedy bastard'
Yes, sireeeee, he's all that and worse as that one-eyed cunt, and his ares-licking jew, Colletski is ripping-off us nationalists again.
My experience in printing one side of A4 paper with standard text and no accompaning picture(s)on bulk-bought A4 paper, using a Risapgraph printer, costs, electricity included, approximately £2.20p (max) per 1000 B&W leaflets, so 10,000 similar leaflets costs around £22 pounds.
Fucking greedy cunt.

I don't know what your game is anonymous - but mine is getting the truth - even if it sometimes isn't what we want to hear. You can't get plain dirt cheap paper these days (as a printer buying in what I call "bulk") at less than £3.20/1000. So your price of "£2.20 (max)" for the paper, artwork, printing, delivery etc. is just plain nonsense - and I suspect you know this.
So! What are you playing at Anonymous? Trying to stir up more friction than is deserved? Are you an "anti-facist" troll? Judging by your unpleasant use of language I would say that is exactly what you are. You know who I am. Who are you?
Genuine mistake. Apologies to all. I forgot to add an extra £1.24p per 1000 sheets pound, so that all told my estimate should have been £34.40p per 10,000.
Anyway Cllr. Chris, up whose arse are you stuck up? Griffin's? Per chance are you the sneaky creep often referred to as a `jew' and `Mentally Hill'? If so, be an obedient little creep by fucking off as advised by others posting to this blog.
