Whit Walks and band contests: Times and locations for all the events in Oldham and Tameside

The greatest free show on earth !

Heading to celebrate Whit Friday tomorrow? Here's everything you need to know

Whit Friday brass band constest oldham Lees Scouthead lees etc. DATE CREATED:
Thousands are expected to line the streets of Tameside and Oldham tomorrow for the ‘greatest free show on earth’ as the annual Whit Walks and band contests take place.
Bands from all over the country will compete tomorrow and will be seen driving all over both districts in order to compete in the minimum of six contests to qualify for the cash prizes.
As usual each band must perform two pieces, on a march as they arrive at the contest and then their second prepared piece.
Each band will be judged ‘blind’ by a judge who will remain hidden so they can only hear the band and not know who is playing.

Last year more than a million people attended the contests, and the Whit Walks, which take place in the morning and are organised by local churches.
This year there will be more than 20 contests taking place across the two districts.
Prizes are awarded to the best ranking across any six contests in Oldham and Saddleworth or across Tameside.
Some contests have a separate prize open for youth bands.
The first contest was held in Stalybridge in 1870, followed by two more in Saddleworth in 1881. Since then they have spread across Saddleworth and Tameside, always held the Friday after Whit Sunday.

Secret Meeting in London to “End Cash”

Central banks aim to institute "governmental approval" for all purchases and sales
Secret Meeting in London to "End Cash"

Economist Martin Armstrong claims there is a “secret meeting to end cash” set to take place in London before the end of the month involving representatives from the ECB and the Federal Reserve.
Armstrong, who is known for successfully predicting the 1987 Black Monday crash as well as the 1998 Russian financial collapse, expressed his shock that no news outlet has reported on this upcoming conference.
“I find it extremely perplexing that I have been the only one to report of the secret meeting in London. Kenneth Rogoff of Harvard University, and Willem Buiter, the Chief Economist at Citigroup, will address the central banks to advocate the elimination of all cash to bring to fruition the day when you cannot buy or sell anything without government approval,” writes Armstrong.
“When I googled the issue to see who else has picked it up, to my surprise, Armstrong Economics comes up first. Others are quoting me, and I even find it spreading as far as the Central Bank of Nigeria, but I have yet to find any reports on the meeting taking place in London, when my sources are direct.”
Armstrong first brought attention to the alleged meeting earlier this month when he revealed that representatives from the Federal Reserve, the ECB as well as participants from the Swiss and Danish central banks would all be attending a “major conference in London” at which Kenneth Rogoff of Harvard University, and Willem Buiter, the Chief Economist at Citigroup, would give presentations.
“We better keep one eye open at night for this birth of a cashless society that is coming in much faster than expected. Why the secret meeting? Something does not smell right here,” concludes Armstrong.
Discussions and moves towards banning cash have repeatedly cropped up in recent weeks.
Willem Buiter, who Armstrong claims is speaking at the secret meeting, recently advocated abolishing cash altogether in order to “solve the world’s central banks’ problem with negative interest rates.”
Last year, Kenneth Rogoff also called for “abolishing physical currency” in order to stop “tax evasion and illegal activity” as well as preventing people from withdrawing money when interest rates are close to zero.
null
Striking a similar tone, former Bank of England economist Jim Leaviss penned an article for the London Telegraph earlier this month in which he said a cashless society would only be achieved by “forcing everyone to spend only by electronic means from an account held at a government-run bank,” which would be, “monitored, or even directly controlled by the government.”
Big banks in both the United Kingdom and the U.S. are already treating the withdrawal or depositing of moderately large amounts of cash as a suspicious activity. Reports emerged in March of how the Justice Department is ordering bank employees to consider calling the cops on customers who withdraw $5,000 dollars or more.
Meanwhile in France, new measures are set to come into force in September which will restrict French citizens from making cash payments over €1,000 euros. Armstrong suggests that “financial police” could enforce this new law by, “searching people on trains just passing through France to see if they are transporting cash, which they will now seize.”
As Armstrong notes, banning cash in order to eviscerate what little economic freedoms people have left to avoid disastrous Keynesian central bank policy is nothing short of economic totalitarianism.
“In the mind of an economic tyrant, banning cash represents the holy grail,” writes Michael Krieger. “Forcing the plebs onto a system of digital fiat currency transactions offers total control via a seamless tracking of all transactions in the economy, and the ability to block payments if an uppity citizen dares get out of line.”

Ann Says, ¡No Mas!

Ann Coulter is back, more fearless than ever. In ¡Adios, America! she touches the third rail in American politics, attacking the immigration issue head-on and flying in the face of La Raza, the Democrats, a media determined to cover up immigrants’ crimes, churches that get paid by the government for their “charity,” and greedy Republican businessmen and campaign consultants—all of whom are profiting handsomely from mass immigration that’s tearing the country apart.

Applying her trademark biting humor to the disaster that is U.S. immigration policy, Ann Coulter proves that immigration is the most important issue facing America today. As Ann points out, if we cave to the Democrats’ scheme to bring in 30 million new liberal voters, we lose on everything else, too, from the economy to social issues to foreign policy to constitutionalism, to the very identity of our nation.

Immigration is the one issue where it’s nearly impossible to get the facts—or even the other side of the argument. But Ann blows the lid off the cover-up by government, both political parties, and media alike. A sampling of the scintillating insights and revelations in ¡Adios, America!:
On building a border wall: “People who live in gated communities tell us fences don’t work.” On welfare: “Today’s immigrants aren’t coming here to breathe free, they’re coming to live for free.” On how the media shut down the immigration debate: “It can be difficult to discuss America’s immigration policies when it’s considered racist merely to say, ‘We liked America the way it was.’”

The Democrats have always regarded “immigration reform” as a way to stuff the ballot box—starting with Ted Kennedy’s immigration law of 1965.

The Democrats know that by changing the makeup of our population they can deliver themselves a permanent majority. Immigration “amnesty” will do just that overnight; continuing our current legal immigration policy will do it within ten or twenty years. Ann Coulter shows what we need to do to stop them.

If you love your country, you need to read ¡Adios, America!

NWN: This book looks promising ?  In 2010 she wrote;

In 1960, whites were 90 percent of the country. The Census Bureau recently estimated that whites already account for less than two-thirds of the population and will be a minority by 2050. Other estimates put that day much sooner.
One may assume the new majority will not be such compassionate overlords as the white majority has been. If this sort of drastic change were legally imposed on any group other than white Americans, it would be called genocide. Yet whites are called racists merely for mentioning the fact that current immigration law is intentionally designed to reduce their percentage in the population.

Far-right groups planning demonstration ‘against Jewish privilege’ in Golders Green

Golders green
Golders Green
By Jenni Frazer
Anti-Semitic and far-right groups are planning a major demonstration “against Jewish privilege” in Golders Green, the heartland of the community, on the first Shabbat in July. Communal leaders have asked Home Secretary Theresa May to ban the event.
Police told Jewish News this week that they are powerless, legally, to stop a static demonstration. It is understood that the planned rally is due to be held at or near Golders Green station on July 4, and antisemitic and neo-Nazi websites have been buzzing for months with information about the event.
Among those thought to be involved in organising the rally – which follows a similar, though unsuccessful event in Stamford Hill in April – are right-wing groups such as New Dawn. The Stamford Hill demonstration, described by the Community Security Trust as “quite pathetic and largely ignored”, was attended by less than 30 people who were held by police away from the Jewish community.
But Mark Gardner of the CST acknowledged this week that such an outcome “cannot be guaranteed in Golders Green”, He said that CST, which was “fully aware of this explicitly antisemitic demonstration”, was in discussion with both police and government about the next steps. He said: “We sincerely hope that our Jewish community will not be cowed by this neo-Nazi intimidation”.
Adrian Cohen, of the London Jewish Forum, said the forum deplored “the vicious antisemitic message of the proposed neo-Nazi rally. We, along with other major Jewish organisations, have asked the Home Secretary to ban the rally. If it goes ahead we will support those who wish to counter- demonstrate in support of the local community, and the relevant authorities in ensuring that peace and security is maintained in the area.”
Andrew Dismore, London Assembly member for Barnet and Camden, has written to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, London mayor Boris Johnson and the Home Secretary Theresa May, calling for a ban on the event. Dismore said: “This is  clearly a highly provocative scheme on the part of the far-right to insult and incite hatred against the Jewish community.  This year has seen a huge rise in anti-Semitic attacks in London, including in Barnet. After the events in Paris, the Jewish community  is feeling very insecure.
“This event is designed to play on those fears and the risk of violence against Jewish businesses and residents is clearly present. This is  why I have written to demand  that the demonstration be banned and that those who plan to attend it are prevented from using TfL public transport to get  to Golders Green to ensure any ban is effective.”
Local MP Mike Freer told Jewish News: “I have called on the Home Office to step in and ban this demonstration. This rally is not about free speech but a deliberate attempt to promote tension and anti-Semitism.”
A spokesman for the anti-fascist group, Hope Not Hate, said it was strongly opposed to the rally going ahead but wished the community to be both prepared and informed. What is additionally troubling community leaders is the possibility of secular Jewish groups staging a counter-protest – and any resulting violence.
Chief Superintendent Adrian Usher, head of policing in Barnet, said: “Officers from Barnet will continue to work closely with the local community to make sure we fully understand their concerns and to brief them on the policing operation as it develops”. He said that officers were speaking to the organisers of the rally “to understand what their plans are”.
Police said they were “mindful” of the “passionate response” that was possible, particularly when protests were held at religious or culturally significant sites. But they made it clear that “disorder, crime and incitement to hatred will not be tolerated… and we will take appropriate action.”

Trouble in UKIP ?

Of course, Nigel Farage could ask his mate photographed here with him , Tony 'bomber' Lecomber to help him with the current UKIP infighting.. Lecomber is an expert in fomenting destruction of a political party. As is Farage, if this picture is anything to go from. The third person is Dr.Mark Deavin.Even though Deavin was involved in the hijacking of the BNP for crook Nick Griffin. He was able to still work in 'academia' , and publish books about arch traitor Harold Macmillan  apparently.

All the above were involved in the destruction of John Tyndalls genuine nationalist BNP..
                                                           -----------------------------------------------------
Dr Sked pointed to one notorious meeting Mr Farage had with far right activists as reason why he wanted to leave the party he founded. Mark Deavin, a former PhD student of Dr Sked’s and BNP activist, managed to infiltrate Ukip in the late 1990s and was photographed after a lunch meeting with Mr Farage alongside the twice-jailed BNP activist Tony ‘the bomber’ Lecomber. Dr Sked admitted bringing Deavin into Ukip but said he had “no idea” he was research director of the BNP.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/ukip-founder-nigel-farages-influence-means-the-party-wont-win-a-seat-in-the-general-election-9983519.html

                                        ------------------------------------------------------

"...............But here's an even stranger coincidence. Shortly before the 1997 general election, Mark Deavin spoke freely of his plans to undercover researchers from Searchlight magazine and The Cook Report, who had posed as emissaries from Jean-Marie Le Pen's Front National. One necessary step, he said, was to get rid of the BNP leader John Tyndall ("who is actually an obstacle") and replace him with Deavin's chum Nick Griffin. This would leave one other obstacle. "If Blair becomes prime minister," Deavin predicted, "the BNP will be the official opposition in the inner cities, in working-class areas. The UKIP will be the opposition in the shires, the county areas, the middle-class opposition. That party is a serious opposition to us in middle England, but, if we had the resources, we could tear it to pieces." .........................
http://www.guardian.co.uk/racism/Story/0,,202962,00.html

We all know that Farage is ill . Is this the 'States' way of destroying a vehicle that they helped to build, which has now got too influential ? Surely 'the state' wants us all to vote for either the Conservatives or the Labour Party as our Dads did and their Dads before them ? All dumbed down so we haven't a clue ? All voting for the Zionists Rothschild family enterprise so that all the top one's can toddle off to the Annual BILDERBERG conference.to get their orders.

UKIP  got almost 4 million votes. That is a serious threat to 'them'.

Come on baldy bomber Lecomber. We know you visit here. Explain you traitor !

England face 2018 World Cup ban for fans' anti-IRA chant

Fifa's new anti-discrimination monitoring system can dish out sanctions that range from a £20,000 fine all the way up to disqualification from a competition

The Football Association is at risk of being punished as early as the historic friendly in the Republic of Ireland next month, following the unveiling of the world governing body’s anti-discrimination monitoring system at Wembley yesterday.
The system will involve World Cup qualifiers – and high-risk friendlies – being scrutinised for any discriminatory behaviour, which one of its architects, Piara Powar, of Football Against Racism in Europe, confirmed would include anti-IRA chants.
Any association whose supporters are found guilty of such behaviour faces sanctions that range from a fine of £20,000 all the way up to disqualification from a competition.
Powar, a member of Fifa’s task force against racism and discrimination, revealed the governing body was considering instructing him to send an observer to England’s first match in Dublin since violence forced the abandonment of a friendly there 20 years ago. The FA has already taken steps to stop supporters singing anti-IRA chants at next month’s game, but will now be able to warn them that such actions could have dire consequences for the national side.
Powar said: “ 'No Surrender To The IRA’ comes from a point which is extreme nationalism. It’s about conflict between two states. That then would be reported. We would be making reports as often as our experts feel there is a case to answer. Then it’s down to Fifa.”
Powar said repeat offenders would face the most severe sanctions. “Some of the countries in this competition are going to commit three or four offences. That would mean they will have at least a stadium closure and possibly face being kicked out of the competition. We wouldn’t be doing this if we weren’t confident Fifa had the intention at least to take action on the evidence we provide to them.”
Fifa developed its new monitoring system after being condemned over its failure to punish clear incidents of discrimination at the World Cup last year, something it vowed yesterday would not be repeated.

Yaya Touré welcomed Fifa's new anti-discrimination initiative

The initiative was welcomed by the Manchester City midfielder Yaya Touré, who warned in 2013 that African players could boycott the tournament in Russia after he was racially abused playing there against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.
• Yaya Toure insists racist abuse can 'break' players
Touré, who sidestepped questions about whether he still held that view, said: “I have been in the situation where there have been monkey chants and it’s difficult to deal with that. As sportsmen, you want to continue to the end, but when you hear something like that, it hurts you and breaks you. You need to give them [offenders] a radical sanction – paying a £20,000 fine is not enough, you need to do more.”

LGBT rights campaigners are set to hold a vigil against hate crime.
The LGBT Foundation, formerly known as the Lesbian and Gay Foundation, will hold the vigil this Sunday to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.
The commemoration will start at 1pm in Sackville Gardens in Manchester’s Gay Village.
Guest speakers will include: Paul Martin OBE, chief executive of LGBT Foundation, Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd and Bethany Black, stand-up comedian and TV actress from Russell T Davies’ TV shows Cucumber and Banana.

Paul Martin said: “The simple fact is if hate crime isn’t reported then nothing can be done about it, and we’ll never know the true extent of the problem.
“It could also mean that other people might receive the same or worse abuse.”
He added: “We believe that every single incident of hate crime, no matter how big or small, should be reported.”
Out of all the hate crimes reported to LGBT Foundation last year, 81pc were homophobic, 13pc were transphobic and 3pc were biphobic, the organisation said.

Top barrister to review controversial decision not to charge Labour peer Lord Janner over historic sex abuse allegations

  • Director of Public Prosecutions had claimed peer was too ill to face trial
  • But the decision was slammed by abuse victims and campaigning MPs
  • Crown Prosecution Service announced today that an independent review of the decision not to prosecute Lord Janner would be carried out
  • The decision could see the 86-year-old Labour peer dragged to court

A senior barrister has been brought in to review the controversial decision of Britain's top prosecutor not to charge Lord Janner over alleged child sex crimes.
In a move that could see the Labour peer dragged before the courts, the Crown Prosecution Service announced that the unnamed QC had been hired to give an independent assessment of the case.
The barrister - who has had no previous involvement with the case – will decide whether or not it is in the public interest to charge the former Labour MP because of his increasingly severe dementia.
Police investigations in 1991, 2002 and 2007 had uncovered sufficient evidence to charge Lord Janner with sexual offences, but the peer - who is suffering from Alzheimer's - is now considered too ill to face prosecution
Police investigations in 1991, 2002 and 2007 had uncovered sufficient evidence to charge Lord Janner with sexual offences, but the peer - who is suffering from Alzheimer's - is now considered too ill to face prosecution
The move comes after victims challenged the decision of Alison Saunders, the Director of Public Prosecutions, not to proceed with the case because of the peer's illness.
Ms Saunders has insisted that her decision was justified because Lord Janner - who is suffering from Alzheimer's - is too ill to stand trial. The peer is also said to be too unwell to face any meaningful sentence if he was prosecuted.
But if the review rules that Ms Saunders' decision was wrong, the peer will face the prospect of a trial over the alleged sex crimes committed over several decades.
Ms Saunders announced last month that she believed police investigations in 1991, 2002 and 2007 had uncovered sufficient evidence to charge Lord Janner with sexual offences.
She said it was a matter of 'deep regret' the police evidence was never tested in court but said it was not in the public interest to prosecute him now.
The 86-year-old peer's family insists he is innocent of any wrongdoing.
Campaigning Labour MP Simon Danczuk 'cautiously welcomed' the decision to review the case.
He told MailOnline: 'I'm still of the view we should come up with a way of prosecuting Lord Janner for the alleged sex crimes. I hope the independent QC reached the right decision.'
Alison Saunders
Simon Danczuk
Alison Saunders, the Director of Public Prosecutions (left), has been slammed by MPs - including Simon Danczuk (right) over her decision not to proceed with the case against Lord Janner because of the peer's illness
Announcing the decision to hire the QC, who is not being named until after their assessment of the Janner case is completed, the Crown Prosecution Service said the move was in line a 'right to review' policy introduced in 2013.
It allows any alleged victim to request a review of a prosecution decision not to charge the suspect in their case.
A CPS spokeswoman said: 'The CPS Victims' Right to Review scheme was set up to give complainants the ability to ask the CPS to review its decisions – usually when there has been a decision not to prosecute.
'The CPS has been asked to invoke this process in the case of Lord Janner and that review is now taking place. This review would normally be done by the CPS Appeals Unit. However, due to the unique circumstances surrounding this case, the CPS has instructed external counsel instead.'
CPS guidelines say that such reviews should normally take around 30 days, but that longer could be required in more complex cases.
NWN: We won't hold our breath. Janner is higher ranking than the Queen in the power stakes in the UK.

Is British nationalism finished ?

The election results are in. We are now worse off than when I first started in 1976.What has happened and what can we do next ?

I could write an essay here but to be quite frank most nationalists are too intellectually dim. So why should I write and waste my time ?
I will give just one prime example of what is wrong in nationalism.
The National Fronts leaflet in my home town of Rochdale was a total embarassment .The grammar, spelling and punctuation was appalling  A 13 year old could do better. The content was even worse. Yes.............yet again the pakistani grooming gangs of Rochdale ! But knowing the folk involved, there was no surprise there. They have no idea of 'ideas', nor of policies. Their idea of winning a General Election is running around with a banner about the pakistani rapists, which they have been doing for the last few years.  That does not get you votes.

If anyone wishes to write, the place is open for you.Nonsense from the current nationalist idiots will be binned.
Replace Zionist Cameron with Zionist Churchill

Election 2015: Rochdale arrests after 'disorder' outside count at town hall

Police say the men - both affiliated to a political party - were detained outside the venue

Rochdale election count at Rochdale Town Hall

Rochdale election count at Rochdale Town Hall

Police have arrested two people outside Rochdale Town Hall as council staff and volunteers attempt to verify and count votes.
The arrests were made at around 10.30pm tonight just half an hour after voting closed.
Police officers covering the event including Rochdale top cop Chief Inspector Chris Sykes dealt with the incident.
It is believed that the two people may have been intoxicated and had an allegiance to the same political party, but this has not yet been confirmed.
They were taken into custody, where they currently remain.
The count at Rochdale was not disrupted by the incident.
