Nelson Mandela proven to be a Communist Party member
After years of lies in which liberal opinion across the world elevated him to sainthood, the terrorist leader Nelson Mandela has been exposed as a member of the Communist Party whose movement – the African National Congress (ANC) – took bomb making lessons from the IRA and was trained in interrogation techniques by the infamous East German Stasi.
A new book by the British historian Prof. Stephen Ellis (former editor of the respected newsletter Africa Confidential) has established the truth by examining previously secret minutes from the South African Communist Party (SACP). At his trial in 1963, it was alleged that Mandela was a Communist Party member as well as leader of the ANC’s terrorist wing Umkhonto we Sizwe (Spear of the Nation). Mandela denied this at the trial, and his denials have since been echoed by ANC apologists worldwide.
As Prof. Ellis explains:
“I think most people who supported the anti-apartheid movement just didn’t want to know that much about his background. Apartheid was seen as a moral issue and that was that. But if real proof had been produced at the time, some might have thought differently.”
The new book External Mission: The ANC in Exile was launched last week at London’s School of Oriental and African Studies, and can be purchased here.
Prof. Ellis’s startling revelations were reported in the Sunday Telegraph on 9th December.
Now that Mandela’s Communist and IRA links have been proved by the most serious scholarly analysis of the ANC’s history, we can see the truth of the observation by the late Dr Frederik van Zyl Slabbert, who wrote:
“one thing the ‘old’ and the ‘new’ South Africa have in common is a passion for inventing history. History is not seen as a dispassionate inquiry into what happened, but rather as a part of political mobilisation promoting some form of collective self-interest.”
Who knows what further political myths could be shattered by a dispassionate inquiry into real history?
Such an inquiry might begin by looking at the background of the South African Communist Party leaders who recruited and promoted Mandela. As the Jewish Journal commented last year:
“Jews were disproportionately found on the front lines of the internal resistance movement.”
These included a series of Communist Party leaders commemorated in this special issue of postage stamps, including Hymie and Esther Barsel, Rusty and Hilda Bernstein, Ruth First and Joe Slovo, who headed both the ANC’s terrorist wing and the Communist Party itself.

Discovered! Iconic photo in Buchenwald is dishonest photo-fakery
By Carolyn Yeager, Dec. 19, 2012
This is the photograph that Allied Supreme Commander General Dwight David Eisenhower ordered, in April 1945, to be posted in every German town and city to show the defeated population the “true meaning of Nazism.”
Was this photo made to order according to Ike’s specifications?
A huge blown-up version then went on tour in the United States for the same purpose, to impress on the American people what evil they had gone to war against; why the sacrifice of blood and treasure was justified! Below: “A traveling exhibit of larger than life size photographs was first shown in St. Louis, MO in summer 1945 and then taken to Washington, DC.
It was plastered on the front pages of newspapers across the country. Thus it became one of the most iconic images representing WWII and of what later came to be known as “The Holocaust.” The intention was to portray the war as a noble effort to “save the Jews from enslavement and extermination,” just as the equally bloody American Civil War had come to be taught as a war “to free the slaves,” i.e. the Negroes who were not citizens of the country they were living in.
Both are black propaganda campaigns that still use whatever is at hand, whether it be subterfuge or not.
In the case of above photograph, we have learned that the standing figure, the part that makes the biggest, most memorable impact on the viewer, was added later – it was not in the original photo allegedly taken by Private H. Miller of the Civil Affairs Branch of the U.S. Army Signal Corps on April 16, 1945, five days after the “liberation” of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp by American forces.
A blogger, the owner of the Winston Smith Ministry of Truth website who goes by the nickname Black Rabbit, decided a week or so ago, out of curiosity, to order the New York Times newspaper article from May 6, 1945 in which this photo was published, and when it came the photo looked like this:
What a shock to see only an empty dark space, and in the New York Times no less!
What happened to the standing man? I was the first to bring it to the attention of the participants in the comment section of furtherglory’s Scrapbookpages Blog after Black Rabbit posted a link to the original article there, and then we quickly began noticing the tell-tale signs of FORGERY about this strange figure who had always appeared odd to me standing there naked as he is, but did not arouse enough suspicion amidst all of the onslaught of “holocaust” imagery, stories and news articles with which we are constantly being bombarded. We see what we are supposed to see, what we’re told we’re seeing, and almost always leave it at that. It is also one of the better photo-forgery jobs of holocaust black propaganda – could that be because it was being done at the behest of the Supreme Commander himself?

What really happened in Sandy Hook?
YouTube Text
Published on Dec 18, 2012
Firearms industry expert and part-time police officer Mark S. Mann (pseudonym) lives in Connecticut, just miles from the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary. He's been following the story closely, talking to cops he knows in the area and he will be reporting for us as this story develops. Mark says there are just too many inconsistencies with the 'official' story and he says, "things don't add up." As we all now know, regardless of whether the mass murders of children and adults at Sandy Hook was a false flag operation, or the actions of a lone nut, the establishment intends to use this event to attack the Constitutional rights of law abiding Americans - they're coming after the guns. And just like Stuart Rhodes of Oath Keepers, Mark says, "We will not tolerate any abuses to our 2nd Amendment rights."
======°ll°======
Daily Bell article on this subject:
No More Questions to Ask About Sandy Hook Shooting?
Tuesday, December 18, 2012 – by Staff Report
Was the Sandy Hook Massacre a False Flag Operation? Early Eyewitness Reports From Newton, CT Suggest So ... We will continue to follow this story closely because there are just too many unanswered questions, and the "official" version of what happened on Friday at Sandy Hook Elementary continues to shift and change. – SGTReport [See above YouTube video]
Dominant Social Theme: There are no more questions to ask. Everything is settled.
Free-Market Analysis: There are questions to ask, just as there were at Columbine where hundreds of witnesses saw more than two young shooters and tried, to no avail, to testify about what they witnessed.
The Columbine investigation was closed without addressing this point and many others, including the medical condition of the two young men who live on only in bloody Internet pictures. Viewers have pointed out inconsistencies in the death photos that tend to undermine the idea of a mutual suicide – the official story.
Questions emerged after the recent Aurora cinema shooting in Colorado by suspect James Holmes, as well. Eyewitnesses even questioned whether it was Holmes who actually did the shooting.
And even more questions are being raised following the Sandy Hook Connecticut shooting, as we can see from the above excerpt. Similar questions have been raised on numerous alternative websites including the alternative conservative site Free Republic (in a thread recently pulled).
There have been too many of these shootings with too many official inconsistencies. A better way of getting information to the public has to be worked out.
Otherwise, mistrust will continue to grow within the alternative media community. The more the officials seem to be equivocating, the more this perspective will take hold.
For instance, a list from one "Clare Kuehn" is circulating around the Internet.
What is interesting is that we cannot find the initial list from Kuehn and the list itself may certainly be disinformation of a sort. The very first point, regarding skepticism as to whether children are dead would seem to invalidate the larger list. Numerous questions are offered without evidence and this in itself is a disinformation technique.
Yet the list's large-scale circulation on the 'Net, along with other such lists, provides us with evidence regarding the growing cynicism attached to these events.
This is the important point. When the body politic begins to show evident and obvious mistrust, the powers-that-be have got to realize they need to do a better job regarding communication of the facts surrounding these horrible shootings.
Newtown Massacre...the MAJOR DISCREPANCIES LIST
by Clare Kuehn
1) As yet, we have not seen any concrete evidence that any child died.
2) As yet, parents have not been allowed to see their children. (Photoshopped pictures do not count.)
3) As of now, I have seen only one unambiguous statement from a grieving parent (Robbie Parker).
4) According to the official story, Adam Lanza was found with his older brother's ID, and it was not stolen. However, older brother Ryan - who officials say is very cooperative - claims not to have even seen his brother since 2010. Where would Adam get this ID? And why does such use not qualify as a theft?
5) According to the official story, Adam Lanza was wearing a black outfit with a mask and bulletproof vest. Why would he want to hide his identity, and why would he wear a bulletproof vest, if he planned to kill himself?
6) The medical examiner asserts that all wounds were caused by a rifle or other long weapon, and police/FBI say that the school was littered with .223 (rifle) casings. But Adam Lanza was found dead in the school with only handguns - a rifle was found in the trunk of his car. But then he could not possibly have been firing the rifle, and could not have committed the murders. Who did?
7) According to the official story, the killing was tightly confined to two classrooms. But then why were so many children told to close their eyes while leaving the building?
8 ) Joanne Didonato, the principal's secretary, called in sick on Friday - something she rarely does. So presumably, she must have been awfully ill. Yet she then felt well enough to give an interview. "Of all days," she said, emphasizing the strange coincidence.
9) The hospital went into lockdown and cleared four trauma rooms, but received only three patients, two of them dead children (according to the official story) and one mildly wounded adult.
10) Why were there such persistent reports that Mrs. Lanza was a kindergarten teacher, and that she died at the school, when the new official story is that she was not connected to the school and was killed at home?
11) What happened to the report that Adam Lanza's girlfriend and another friend were missing in New Jersey?
12) What happened to the woodsman in a black jacket and camo pants who was arrested and handcuffed outside the school? He actually shouted to parents, "It wasn't me." Who was he and what was he doing there?
13) What happened to the dark van or SUV that the police surrounded in the parking lot, or the maroon sedan with a blown-out back window they were on the lookout for?
14) The official story is that Nancy Lanza was a gun collector who obeyed the law. But since 20-year-olds are not permitted to buy guns or ammo or carry guns in Connecticut, why would she give her "autistic" son access to both guns and ammo?
15) Why were parents told on Friday that "if you haven't been reunited with your child by now it's already over"? Does anyone imagine that real parents of real children would simply say, "Okay, the show's over, let's go home now"?
16) Would real parents of real children really be satisfied with (possibly photoshopped) pictures of their children? Wouldn't they demand to see their children one last time firsthand?
17) According to the official story, 28 people died but only 1 was wounded. The dead included 20 small, squirmy children - difficult targets even for professionals. How could Adam Lanza achieve such amazingly deadly accuracy, in such a short length of time?
18 ) A child asserts that he/she heard someone say, "Put your hands up," followed by the reply, "Don't shoot." This indicates that the police took a suspect into custody inside the school. But if that was Adam Lanza, how did he kill himself after that point?
19) Another child asserts that he/she saw a man pinned down to the ground with handcuffs on. Again, this indicates that the police took a suspect into custody. If that was Adam Lanza, how did he then kill himself?
20) When Ryan Lanza was falsely identified as the shooter, who deleted his Facebook profile and created many others in his name?
21) Is it reasonable for a geeky 20-year-old to carry two pistols and hundreds of rounds of ammunition while wearing a bulletproof vest and a mask?
22) Why did the police say on Friday that they were going to leave the bodies rotting in the school until Sunday, then Saturday morning announce that they had spirited the bodies away in the middle of the night? Perhaps to ensure that the transport, if any, would go unrecorded on photos or video?
23) Why won't police tell us where they found the Henry repeating rifle, the Enfield rifle, and the shotgun?
24) Did the school have one or more security cameras? What do they show?
25) Why did a police officer specifically mention, on radio, that "they're coming at me through this wood," followed by a fellow officer saying, "This is it"?
26) One officer in the school said, "We've got one suspect down." Who was that? Down in this situation generally means in custody(on the ground and cuffed), not dead.
27) Why didn't Adam's uncle see anything out of the ordinary in Adam when the two saw each other in June?
28) Why is Adam Lanza reported to be a loner when a teenager said (oxymoronically), "[Lanza and his friends] always gathered alone in a corner in school"?
29) Why did police assign an individual state trooper to every grieving family, whether the family wants such "protection" or not?
30) Why are Ryan Lanza and his roommates still in custody, and why are the police pretending that it's for their own benefit?
31) Is it a coincidence that Nancy Lanza's brother is Kingston Police Officer James Champion, who lives next door to the former Lanza home?
32) Since the alleged shooter's father is VP of GE Capital, and (like "Batman shooter" James Holmes's father) was scheduled to testify at the Senate Hearings on the LIBOR scandal, is there a LIBOR connection to this event?
This is a disturbing list, even if each point raised has a reasonable rebuttal. The authorities, after so many shootings with so many unanswered questions, are simply not doing an adequate job, in our view, to reassure citizens of their safety and law enforcement's general competence.
Over time, questions from multiple events become corrosive and tend to undermine civil trust. This would seem to be happening. Those in charge ought to be concerned.
Conclusion: A new methodology of public communication would seem to be called for.

A Question of Strength
The Island of Rab
Have any of this blogs' dear readers heard about how, in 1945 on an island in the Adriatic, 4,000 people were brutally and sadistically massacred in a period of a few days? No, neither had I. You would think something like that would get a mention somewhere when you check out the name of the island where this happened? For instance on Wikipedia? Well you'd be wrong.
In that case visit the blog, The Irish Savant and read the story. The comments to the story are also well worth reading.

Martin Webster email on Zionism
The tide is finally turning against the Zionists
by Martin WebsterThursday 13th December 2012.
"Shameful cowardice at heart of Tory Govt's relations with Israel" - Peter Oborne, Daily Telegraph
Once again, the Daily Telegraph columnist Peter Oborne sticks his head above the parapet and declares that the Conservative government’s relationship with Israel is driven by “cowardice” and that its refusal to criticise the Zionist state is “shameful”.
How Oborne was allowed to get such an article published in the usually slavishly pro-Zionist ‘Torygraph’ is beyond my ken. But it was certainly a good deed in a naughty world and has quite cheered me up. I run the item out below.
(The last time I looked, at 9.35pm, there were 1,160 comments on the article which only appeared this morning in hard copy. I looked through the first 20 or so. The Zionist organised lynch-mob are well represented, but some quite brave anti-Zionist readers defied them, making some telling points.)
The situation which Oborne describes as obtaining in Tory circles also applies to the Labour and Liberal Democrat parties, although those parties have a greater number of anti-Zionist “mavericks” than the Tories.
The same cannot be said of the United Kingdom Independence Party (Ukip) which, in order to protect itself from accusations of “anti-semitism” expresses at every opportunity the most grovelling and demeaning of pro-Jewish, pro-Israel sentiments.
In 2005 Ukip members of the European Parliament voted in support of a Jewish-contrived resolution which, if enacted into law, would have resulted in British citizens being arrested in Britain by the British Police acting on European Union Arrest Warrants and deported without any recourse to British courts to face trial in whichever EU member state issued the warrant for the ‘crime’ of “Holocaust Denial” which is not a criminal offence in this country! So much of “national independence” under Ukip.
Those who heard the recent BBC Radio 4 profile of Ukip leader Nigel Farage will have noted that Farage’s closest buddy is somebody called Bloom or something of that sort, whose only fault is that he cannot keep pace with Farage in the boozing stakes.
I hope nobody who considers him/her self to be an authentic British Nationalist would dream of casting of vote for the City slicker Farage’s Ukip.
Peter Oborne made a trenchant documentary for Channel 4’s ‘Dispatches’ series about Zionist corruption of ‘our’ parliamentarians and other ‘public’ servants three years ago. I reviewed that documentary for Prof Kevin MacDonald’s ‘The Occidental Observer’ web site http://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/authors/Webster-Oborne.html

Elderly man avoids conviction for racial abuse on street
Wednesday, December 12, 2012
By Liam Heylin
A man has pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive, or insulting language where he was described as verbally abusing a non-national on Barrack St, Cork.
Inspector Bill Duane said gardaí responded to a call to the area on Jan 4.
A non-national told gardaí he was in the area waiting for an estate agent to come to show him a property on 96 Barrack St.
As he was waiting, Richard Hurley, 68, came out of 95 Barrack St.
Insp Duane said at Cork District Court yesterday: “He came out and stuck his finger up to him and said:
‘Go back to your own fucking country you fucking black ‘N’.”
“Mr Hurley told gardaí the man was peeping in his doorway and said: ‘I will not have peeping Toms in my doorway.’
“He continued to shout: ‘The Irish did not fight in West Cork for the blacks. Bobby Sands did not die for the blacks’,” said Insp Duane.
Judge Leo Malone asked why Hurley was behaving in this manner.
Diarmuid Kelleher, solicitor, said Hurley reached the age of 68 without getting into this kind of difficulty.
Mr Kelleher said Hurley had heart difficulties and that this had something to do with his lack of tolerance on the occasion.
“Behaving in this fashion is not good for your heart either,” said Judge Malone.
“He has no predisposition to this kind of criminality,” said Mr Kelleher.
“It is inappropriate behaviour,” said Judge Malone.
“Taking into consideration his age I, reluctantly, won’t impose a conviction.
I will put it back to Mar 25, 2013.
If he pays €350 to Marymount hospice he will get the benefit of a dismissal under the Probation of Offenders Act.”

Patrick Moore dead
Patrick Moore dead
Very sad.
I do remember the 'mad march hare' slagging off the National Front.. .....in the late 1970s.
He was not one of us.
I have seen the current rubbish from many so called nationalists today.
He was just a mad reactionary tory.
Bearing in mind this was yesterday.
If Moore was slagging off the current NF then fair enough.
The current NF are useless.
I have seen it all before.
The states idea is to put idiots like Kevin Bryan into positions that will turn off anyone with brains from nationalism.
People like Chris Jackson , I have no idea what his game is.
His intellect is minor anyway.
He slags off everyone behind their backs. And I mean everyone.
No way will I ever trust Mr Michael C Jackson ever again.
I have seen this all before.
The state promoted idiots to shag up the nationalist movement in the 1980s.
In the late 1980s they promoted Joe Nylan in Manchester.
Now they promote Kevin Bryan, a similar well meaning simpleton. The BNP and the NF are being dumbed down.
Bryan was a shelf stacker for KWIKSAVE till recently.
It's best the movement crashes down like it did last time. I will be too old to build it up for if there is ever another chance.
But at least cunts like Kevin Bryan and Chris Jackson can have their 'hour of triumph'.

Only 11.5 Percent of the Swiss in favour of joining the EU
Source: 20Minuten Online
24 November 2012
Switzerland’s desire to join the EU is unpopular as never before. In addition, the European Economic Area (EEA) is increasingly unpopular as a new survey shows. Therefore for the Swiss a political alignment with the European Union is slowly disappearing into the distance.
The confidence of the Swiss in the European Union is gone: Only 11.5 percent of the voters are in favor of joining. Twelve years ago more than a third desired becoming a part of the EU. This is the result of an evaluation made by the Swiss newspaper "SonntagsZeitung" based on a set of surveys continuously conducted since 1993 by Institute Isopublic.
For the Swiss the EU has never been so unpopular as it is now in 2012. Even membership of the EEA – which Swiss voters rejected 20 years ago with 50.3 percent – would be rejected by a massive margin if they were to vote today; Only about 32 percent would want to join it today.
"Serious deadlock»
In the Euro-friendly French-speaking part of Switzerland the same trends are seen. Until 2008 a clear majority of 60 percent there spoke for EEA membership - today it's only 41.5 percent.
These figures send out a clear signal to the politicians. Their reactions reflect this. For instance Christa Markwalder FDP National Councillor said regarding European policy Switzerland is "in a serious deadlock." She advocates a "EEA light".
Old Federal Councillor Micheline Calmy-Rey (SP) does not see any alternative to bilateral agreements. SVP patron Christoph Blocher anticipating a European referendum in the next few years says, "I'll have to get involved once again." Considering these figures this fight should be one of his easiest.

No desire for the EU: The Swiss people reject
EU membership as clearly as ever.

Communist AFA/IRA thug Dave Hann writes history book ?
Apparently he is dead.
The author Dave Hann died a few years back.
He allegedly co -wrote a book of 'derring- do' with SEARCHLIGHTs Steve Tilzey by these champions of the ultra 'hard man' marxist left, and called NO RETREAT.
We at NWN have shown in the past, that both these 'warriors of the marxist class struggle' told ridiculous lies in that book.
Hann got kicked out of AFA for mugging some 'poofter' in Manchester.(Shock, horror gasp!)
He was involved with some leftie academic female shitbag that lectures at Brighton.
Never mind.
But I am sure we have seen his ugly face in the North West.
Which we should have done, bearing in mind these folk were 'fighting the fash' every day of the week.
IIRC he was with old Failsworth,Oldham jewboy/zionist and agent for SEARCHLIGHT Mike Luft, and taking pics of us.
Unless the odds were 10/1 at least, Hann would never have 'stuck the boot in'. Bit like his feminine mate, Steve Tilzey.
Both are/were, violent and paid zionist/ jewish and IRA stooges.
This book has definitely been 'ghost written' by marxist academics, and most probably SEARCHLIGHT/communist zionists. We also strongly suspect that the book NO RETREAT was also 'ghost written' by the same enemies of this country who wrote this 'pack of lies'.

'Shambolic' police commissioner poll blasted as under 14 per cent bother to vote in Greater Manchester
Widespread voter apathy has undermined the announcement of Greater
Manchester first elected police chief, due later today, with fewer than
one in seven bothering to cast their vote.
The region went to the polls yesterday to choose a £100,000-a-year police and crime commissioner (PCC) – who will have the power to set police budgets and priorities and hire or fire the chief constable.
The count is not due to take place until this afternoon.
But turnout figures show that fewer than 15 per cent cast their vote in all but one of the ten local authority areas in Greater Manchester. The overall turnout figure was 13.9 per cent.
Turnout was highest in Trafford and and lowest in Wigan (11.4pc). In Manchester it was 12.5pc and in Oldham 12.6pc.
Similar PCC elections across the rest of the country reported similarly low levels of participation – threatening to undermine the democratic legitimacy of the winners.
Labour were quick to blame coalition ministers for failing to properly publicise the votes for elected police chiefs. No taxpayer-funded electoral leaflets were sent out, leaving many voters complaining that they had no idea who their candidates were, or what they stood for.
Jonathan Reynolds, Labour MP for Stalybridge and Hyde, said: "I think you cannot blame the candidates, who have put a lot of work into it.
"You have to ask questions about the government. This was a flagship reform and the organisation has been shambolic.
"These are important jobs that are being replaced.
"I think the government has to tell us what their ambition was for the turnout."
Katie Ghose, chief executive of the Electoral Reform Society, said: "This election has been a comedy of errors from start to finish.
"Polling stations are standing empty because voters knew next to nothing about the role, let alone the candidates they were expected to pick from.
"The Home Office has operated under the assumption that 'if you build it they will come'. Democracy just doesn't work that way. There have been avoidable errors at every step, and those responsible should be held to account."
Five candidates stood to be Greater Manchester's PCC, including long-term Manchester Central MP Tony Lloyd (Labour), former policeman Matt Gallagher (Lib Dem), senior councillor Michael Winstanley (Conservative), barrister Steven Woolfe (UKIP), and magistrate Roy Warren (Independent).
The results were expected to be announced at around 2pm.
M.E.N. readers took to Twitter to share their experiences of empty polling stations around the region.
One man - a caretaker at a polling station - reported seeing just four voters arrive during the whole morning.
Reader Robin Usher said he had been the fourth voter when he turned up at Milnrow Cricket Club at 10.15am – more than three hours after the polls opened. Other readers reported eerily quiet polling stations everywhere from Monton in Salford to Buxton in Derbyshire.
Turnout was expected to be significantly higher in Manchester Central – where a parliamentary by-election was also being held yesterday.
The seat was vacated by Labour’s Tony Lloyd so he could stand for the post of PCC.
And voters in the Manchester ward of Ardwick had a THIRD vote, too – with a council by-election on top of the parliamentary and PCC polls.
At St Luke’s church hall in Ardwick, voters reported a distinct lack of queues. Bilal Shafi, 34, said: “Voting is the most important thing in life. This is the only tool we have to make our voices heard.
“There were less people than I expected in the polling station. But it’s a working day, so people might come later on.”

Mysteries of Muammar Gaddafi's death
First posted on Pravda.ru on 22.10.2012
October 20 marked one year of the death of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. The politician died a horrible death: Gaddafi was first tortured and then executed. Initially, it was claimed that the Colonel had been killed in a shootout. However, after the video of the terrible tortures spread around the world, the version of death in the shootout ceased to exist.
By this date, Human Rights Watch (HRW), an international human rights organization, released new evidence showing that Gaddafi, contrary to the official version, had not been accidentally wounded in a shootout. The newly released data shows that he was tortured by rebels. Afterwards, they killed his son Mutassimom and 66 Gadaffi supporters. All the prisoners were subjected to severe tortures before death. The human rights organization published a 50-page report, "Death of a Dictator: Bloody Vengeance in Sirte." The report emphasizes that the Libyan authorities have not kept their promise to investigate the death of Colonel Gaddafi and punish all those responsible for the massacre. HRW accused the Libyan government of harboring war criminals.
The report may damage the reputation of the Libyan authorities in the eyes of the West even further, after the recent assassination of U.S. ambassador, Christopher Stevens. At first, rebels claimed that Gaddafi was hiding in the drainage system and that he was seized there. Then it turned out that he wanted to break out of Sirte with 50 cars of his supporters. NATO forces bombed the column, and Gaddafi and his entourage was captured.
The prisoners were divided. The rebels immediately began to torture Gaddafi. They took his son to Misrata, where he was interrogated and then killed. Other followers of the colonel were placed underneath a concrete wall, where they were beaten and later executed. The rebels shot Mutassim Gaddafi on video. When he was being questioned, he was drinking water and smoking. In the evening, his body with a wound on the throat, which could not be seen on the previous videos, was not shown to people.
HRW interviewed several witnesses of the dictator's captivity, particularly his surviving followers. The human rights activists also studied numerous recordings that the rebels made on their mobile phones and posted on the web. Some of them show the moment, when Gaddafi was captured. Director of Emergency Management HRW Peter Bouckaert is certain that the events that took place a year ago were nothing but a brutal war crime. The execution of prisoners took place without any trial. Under international law, the execution of prisoners of war is a war crime, and the Libyan authorities were obliged to investigate the crime and punish those responsible for it.
Gaddafi was injured; he was bleeding. Instead of providing medical help to the colonel, the rebels began to brutally beat and bayonet him. In one of the videos posted on the Internet by the rebels, one can see Muammar Gaddafi being dragged on the ground. Someone bayonets him in the buttocks. When they finally took him to hospital, the colonel was showing no sign of life, which can be clearly seen on video.
Gaddafi's guards were shot dead at a hotel located nearby. On October 22, 2011 HRW staff found there the remains of 53 people. Most of the victims had their hands tied; they were shot in the back of the head. The human rights organization compared the faces of the dead with the persons who could be seen on videos. They found 17 complete matches. These facts ramshackle the official version that said that the supporters of Gaddafi and himself died in the crossfire.
Human Rights Watch does not see any wish of the Libyan authorities to investigate the events that happened on October 20, 2011 near Sirte, and punish those responsible. HRW even found the names of rebel commanders who gave the order to shoot the prisoners, thus committing a war crime. All the evidence was handed over to the Libyan authorities, but the latter showed no response. This was the basis for disclosing the results of the investigation - the most heinous one during the whole experience of HRW.
However, experts say that even if the government in Tripoli wanted to prosecute the commanders, who ordered to kill the prisoners, it would be hard for them to do it. The central government does not control the situation in many regions. The Attempts to arrest local commanders would lead to new bloodshed. The facts released by HRW can split the Libyan government with key Western states.
It seems that Western "builders of democracy," who supported the Libyan rebels against Colonel Gaddafi, built a strange democracy there. Its quality was questioned during the moment when the Libyans were filmed near Gaddafi's corpse and was shattered after the recent assassination of the U.S. ambassador. To crown it all, numerous reports from the war-torn country say that armed gangs still happily exist in Libya, although they are no longer needed there. Perhaps, the European countries that launched the military operation in Libya, are now more preoccupied with the economic situation in their own countries, rather than with the situation in Libya.
Moreover, Sarkozy, the main supporter of NATO's invasion of Libya, is no longer in power, and France is now not worried much about the situation in Tripoli. NATO's operation against Gaddafi started and ended illegally. It was launched on the base of the corrupted UN Security Council Resolution from 1973. The resolution entitled only to protect civilians - it did not stipulate a combat operation. The end of this operation was also illegal: the extrajudicial murder of the ex-leader of the country.
The brutal murder of Muammar Gadhafi by a crowd of rebels received a predictable response from the US authorities. American officials welcomed the murder. Barack Obama, being a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was supposed to condemn it, at least for decency. He did not. Law ceases to exist as soon as it interferes with an intention of U.S. authorities to get what they want. The moral responsibility for the murder of Gaddafi lies on the President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, and on other leaders of NATO members. They warped the essence of the UN resolution and began the bloody war.
The Libyan precedent should be the last in this sense. It is no coincidence that China and Russia did not sanction NATO and the U.S. for the destruction of Syria's. Russia and China did not vote for the resolution, which would formally impose sanctions, but would then be interpreted as the right to kill the Syrian leadership. After all, there is an obvious trend: first - Milosevic, then - Hussein, and then - Gaddafi. None of these politicians attacked the U.S. and Europe.
The first lesson to be learned from the life and death of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi - is that a political leader should not relax. Gaddafi believed that he was on good terms with the West. In addition, he had a strong presence in Africa, serving as the President of the African Union, uniting 53 states.
The second lesson is that a person, who stays in power for a long time, must be very realistic about political situation. Gaddafi could not adequately assess the internal state of affairs. Libya exploded as a result of the Arab Spring that struck Tunisia and Egypt. Gaddafi clearly underestimated the Arab Spring.
The third lesson - Gaddafi had to stop on time. If he had left power about 5 years ago, it would have remained a respected former head of the country. Younger politicians would have visited him for advice and, most importantly, he would have been alive.

No BNP candidates to stand in Rochdale !
So all the 'hoo- haa'
from the "best ever Rochdale Organiser" according to himself, and even
two BNP meetings in one week, the result is .................nothing !
Not a bloody sausage !
Perhaps, if he had
spent half as much time attacking this board and more on organising a
BNP unit, things might have been different.
Rochdale has stood nationalist candidates since 1970, almost without a gap !
Perhaps we have got it wrong though.
Is the BNP about holding meetings now, rather than gaining power ?

- Ken Kelly is well known to Searchlight for gun running.
He firebombed a Church in Rochdale in the 80's and served time.
He got Pete Brawley a BM NW regional organiser, a SIX year sentence for firearms.
He supplied Tony Reed Herbert the guns for the ITV programme GUNS TO THE RIGHT. Ray Hill mentions a Rochdale member but NOT Ken Kelly. WHY ?
Kelly supplied the gun that murdered a young lad in the infamous 'Baitings Dam murder' that was on CRIMEWATCH on two occasions.
The police know all this.
So why has the Rochdale BNP Organisers best mate, Ken Kelly, never had his collar felt ?
And more to the point .........Kev Bryan knows all this, but still allows Kelly to attend meetings ? - 11 April 2007 04:34
