BREAKING: British Army veterans march in Derry cancelled
A British Army veterans march planned for Derry next month has been cancelled after outcry in the local community.
The Bloody Sunday families and Irish Republican Socialist Party came out against the march, planned for March 4th.
The Pat Finucane Centre revealed on Facebook that the march had been cancelled.
The march was planned as a protest against criminal investigations of former soldiers.
A Pat Finucane Centre spokesperson said: 'Veterans parade' CANCELLED.
"PFC contacted the Parades Commission yesterday and arranged a meeting with families of victims of state violence for next week.
"We have just been informed that the parade has been cancelled! Good news and well done to all who contacted commission."
