Richard Edmonds ideology/policy compass went badly awry after John Tyndall died in 2005. For example, Edmonds even supported 'Griffin and his multi culti policies in the BNP' when those who opposed Griffin wanted an EGM . Edmonds publicly called them, and which included Chris Jackson, "prats" .

I have to agree with all the comments, RIP Richard
Shame you missed BRexit by a matter of hours, something you spend almost 50 years trying to get us out of!

I will now proffer my thoughts on Richard. Of course I knew him personally, since the later 1970's when we were both leading officials in the NF. We used to also attend Advisory Council meetings within the BNP later. Richard used to sometimes stay at my home, when visiting the North West.

He spent most of his active life supporting British nationalism and suffered, not being able to earn an honest living due to the States pressure on dissidents.

However, I have to now mention when many are talking about 'loyalty' with RE, that I do not agree.

Not long after the crook Griffin 'hijacked' the BNP. Griffin wanted John Tyndall to be expelled from the BNP , as did Griffins friends like 'Bomber' Lecomber, Dr Mark Deavin and Nigel Farage . Yet another dodgy bastard that supported Griffin, Arthur Kemp, the ex- South African copper, has re-appeared here again in the UK with a post of his new page over on Stormfront.

Anyway, Griffin wanted John Tyndall out of the BNP. His first target to get rid of JT was Richard Edmonds.Griffin wanted to expel Richard before JT. I was then still a senior regional BNP official and Richard wrote to me asking for my help. Of course I wanted to help Richard, and did, and told him so.

Now when it was my turn to be 'expelled' from the BNP in 2001 and much later. Richard knew of my predicament then. Did he even once reciprocate even once, and offer to help me ? Not a bit of it !

I used to also speak at the John Tyndall Memorial meetings too, until Richard was asked on a regular basis . Coincidence ? I hope not.

Richard was not in any way an organiser for the nationalist movement. Without JT, of whom he was a sychophant really , he was totally lost. As evidenced by his behaviour when JT died in 2005. RE supported Griffins plan to allow non-British to become BNP members, and he even verbally attacked those who didn't want that to happen.

RE kept his real thoughts away from his 'friends' and he never discussed policy in any great depth. A great shame really. RE was a fine speaker.

I had to comment though on those who didn't know him, talking about his 'loyalty' . Well he had none for me, neither those who disagreed with his support of Griffin wanting and getting non - British into the BNP.

P.S. I should have wrote "I hope so" rather than "I hope not".
