20 years ago today, John Tyndall, was found dead at his home near the coast in East Sussex.
The former Chairman of the National Front in the 1970's, in that parties halcyon days. He later formed, and was the Chairman of the British National Party.
This writer was with him the week before he died, and he was 'on form' with no signs of any illness whatsoever. In fact, 'JT' as he was affectionately known, was into physical fitness and ran almost every day.
Just a few years before he died, Nick Griffin had 'hijacked' the BNP and ultimately then proceeded to destroy the BNP. Just as he had done with the National Front, in the 1980's.
This blogsite was then, in the months before his death, campaigning in support of John Tyndall, and for removing Griffin from his BNP Chairman's position. JT and NWN, amongst many others, were galvanising strong support UK nationwide. In that campaign, to regain 'sanity' within the BNP.
Just by way of information, one Nigel Farage, was instrumental in destroying the BNP. Farage brags about that.
Farage was photographed (above pic) with him talking to a Dr. Mark Deavin on the right, who was (ex) UKIP, and Griffins 'right hand man' Tony 'Bomber' Lecomber on left of pic, in white shirt. A then leading and well known BNP official so Farage could NOT have been unaware of exactly who Lecomber was.
When Dr Deavin spoke at BNP meetings both he and Griffin said they were going to take over UKIP and bring UKIP into the BNP.
Unfortunately, the reverse was the actual case.
This blogsite is still suspicious of the timing of John Tyndall's totally unexpected death when he was on the cusp of retaking the BNP Chairmanship.

One of the bravest men I have ever met, was JT, inspiring. Disappointed in what happened with Richard Edmonds. As soon as Griffin won the leadership contest, Edmonds left Britain and worked in Russia for several years. He also joined Griffins advisory council ( after JT´s death ) and was one of Griffins most vocal cheerleaders in conning the membership into accepting non white members. Shame on him.
Correct. Edmonds lost his moral compass when JT died, and he had the bloody cheek to slag off those that did NOT support JT. He even called Chris Jackson and Kev Bryan ' prats' at IIRC the EGM. Edmonds was never an organiser. Though when JT was ousted, Griffin went after Richard Edmonds to get at JT. Edmonds asked me to help him in his then campaign to stay in the BNP. Griffin used Lecomber to put out a smear campaign against RE. That campaign used 'doctored' pics that claimed to show RE with Mrs Florentine Rost Van Tonningen and some National Socialists, in Holland. Mrs Van Tonningen passed away in 2007. Griffin failed that time. I helped Edmonds back then. But when I was expelled by Griffin and Lecomber, Edmonds failed to help me when I asked him. I still have the letters from Edmonds from that time, I think ? Edmonds became a real disappointment, to say the least.

I can remember Edmonds as far back as the early 80´s. His hatred of ALL things jewish held no bounds. Dread to think how many new recruits to the cause he put off with his rants, in his old flat, minibus to and from activities and later at the welling bookshop. I can remember he wasted a lot of money and time producing a broadsheet called holocaust news which he got activists to punt out in east london. Thankfully JT saw sense and forced him into focussing on the Rights for Whites idea which later helped secure the first breakthrough. In later life he relocated to Sutton on the outskirts of London. The journey from Sutton railway station to his flat took him past sutton synagogue, and he would always take another route which added 10 minutes to his travelling time because he thought the people inside were watching him. Sad ending.
Edmonds was someone who never had any kind of life outside of politics, which made him very eccentric. He took over the party when JT went inside and the party pretty much ground to a halt. Bugger all activities, the monthly newspaper only coming out once and the ´jailed for telling the truth mass poster distribution only came to fruition the week before JT and Morse were released from prison.
When he ran the bookshop he introduced a woman called Jennifer as his girlfriend. She never bothered to keep her distain of nationalist politics a secret even though she attended activities with him. A few months later they marry, she moved in to the bookshop with him (and where the membership list was stored ). Next thing he announces is that they seperated. Make of it what you will.
I knew Edmonds from the bookshop days. He has absolutely no social life/interests outside of politics and that made him a bit of a crank. Terrible judge of character, he had two seperate informants working at the bookshop, Colins and Hepple. The only half decent co worker there ended up having to take Edmonds to court for non payement of wages.
