This is probably an history lesson to the younger nationalists. In the recent past we had proper soldiers within the British Army and Armed Forces. One of these men was Colonel Colin Campbell Mitchell (Mad Mitch) of the ARGYLE & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS, a very tough Regiment, who this writer served with in early 1973, near Stirling. The media nicknamed him 'Mad Mitch', but he was a proper soldier who was a real Officer and leader of his men. Another real soldier was General Sir Walter Walker, who was General Officer Commanding in Malaya and surrounding, like Mitchell in the 50's&60's. Please read up on these men. Both of these men were kept well away from Northern Ireland . I wonder why ?

If he was a honest soldier the Brits would have had to shoot him in the back if they sent him to Ireland especially after his work in Palestine that I just read.HA HA HA
No good having him running around killing the queens men that are paid to keep the troubles flowing.
Lord Stevens and his team arrested 210 terror suspects 207 of them turned out to be British agents.
Oh my Lord Your man would have murdered 3 terror suspects and 207 of his own men then moved on to have the Forces Research Unit as a light snack before bed.
Was it MI5 agent Kevin Fulton / Peter Keeley that said 7 out of 10 IRA bombs were actually Brit bombs.
Got to laugh or else you'll cry.
