As promised a while ago. We found an old memory card containing these pics, and many more . On the first pic, the BNP contingent and their wreath on show, are on the far side of the pic/Cenotaph.

When the North West region BNP was really the driving force in the BNP due to the riots that broke out in Oldham and Burnley. Nick Griffin soon screwed those gains up, especially in Burnley where they had 8 councillors at one stage and were the official opposition on Burnley council.
Steve Smith of Burnley brought a book out about Griffins wrecking tactics around that time. I can't remember the books name ?
Griffin was involved in the destruction of the National Front too in the later 1980's.
