3 young teenagers were viciously assaulted and left for dead in a racially motivated attack in Smithy bridge. One lad is still in Salford Royal having been set ...upon by a group of Asian men in their early 20s armed with a golf club and metal bars. The young lads were rammed off the road and as they got out of the car one of them was deliberately run over. The other 2 lads were then set upon. The Asian men in their early 20's drove away in a grey Nissan Micra, and shouted "White pussy" at one of the boys on the floor with serious head injuries.
No news reports have been made of this incident, despite it leaving one boy needing emergency surgery for his head injuries and we cannot help but wonder if this was 3 young Asian boys set upon in this way and left for dead on the streets of Rochdale, then it would be front page National news. Our best wishes go out to the boys involved and we hope that they make a full recovery from their horrific injuries.We also hope the two cowards who did this are found.

The UK’s Special Envoy for post-Holocaust Issues, the Rt Hon Sir Eric Pickles and the former Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, the Rt Hon Ed Balls, have today (18 April 2018) been appointed by the Prime Minister as co-chairs of the Holocaust Memorial Foundation Advisory Board. They replace Sir Peter Bazalgette chairman of the Board since 2015.
The advisory board is supporting the delivery of the UK’s new Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre that is proposed for Victoria Tower Gardens beside the Houses of Parliament.
