Watching all the stuff I could about the burial of Richard III, my own opinion is that the Queen ought to have turned up in Leicester to the re-burial of the medieval monarch. As does many others, the New York Times for example ran a major story a few hours ago.
So I did a search just now, to find out where HM the Queen was today the 26th.March 2015. Apart from being in Folkestone, she was also at Canterbury cathedral.
Rather strange that, as the Archbishop of Canterbury was leading the burial and service at Leicester cathedral.
But there's more.
I'll just post the quote from KENT ONLINE;
The royal party will then travel to Canterbury where the Queen and the Duke will attend a service at the cathedral, and unveil statues of themselves to mark the Diamond Jubilee.

Richard was a medieval King. They had to be 'brutes' at times. But they were far better than our current decadent monarchs.
Richard was the first onto the battle field.
Would our current monarch do something like that, or our politicans ?
