Cherie Blair embraces former IRA commander Martin McGuinness at funeral of Tony Benn

  • Deputy First Minister attended with Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams
  • Mr Adams was also at funeral and called Tony Benn 'a friend of Ireland'
  • Mrs Blair's husband once admitted he liked both 'more than I should have'
  • The Queen famously shook Mr McGuinness' hand two years ago and is set to invite him to state dinner at Windsor
Cherie Blair hugged and kissed former IRA commander Martin McGuinness today after the pair joined 750 other mourners at the funeral of Tony Benn.
The human rights QC smiled and embraced Northern Ireland's deputy First Minister as they filed out of St Margaret's Church, Westminster this afternoon.
Public figures had been paying their last respects to Mr Benn, who served as a Labour MP for more than 50 years and died two weeks ago at 88.
Mr McGuinness attended the service with Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams, who Tony Blair admitted in his memoirs he liked 'more than I should have'.

Speaking about Tony Benn Mr Adams said:'He was a friend of Ireland and was good for the peace process'.
Mrs Blair and her husband got to know Mr McGuinness and Mr Adams during the peace process.
'Whether you like them or not, and no matter how strongly you disapprove of their past actions, they had courage in abundance,' Mr Blair wrote when he left power.
Cherie Blair's warmth towards the Northern Irish politician came two years after the Queen shook his hand.

The momentous act came 33 years after her cousin, Lord Mountbatten of Burma, was murdered by an IRA bomb as he holidayed with his family.
The decision to shake hands with a former IRA commander was an astonishing act of forgiveness by the 86-year-old monarch who adored her ‘Uncle Dickie’.
Her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, a nephew of Lord Mountbatten, also offered his hand even though Philip was exceptionally close to his uncle and took news of his murder in 1979 hard.

It also emerged that he may be travelling to Windsor Castle next month for a state dinner hosted by Her Majesty.
Mr McGuinness admitted his IRA past to the Saville Inquiry in 1998, but has always insisted he never killed anyone – claims that have been repeatedly questioned by his critics.
He joined the Provisional IRA as a teenager and quickly rose up the ranks. By 1971, aged 21, he was second in command of the IRA in Derry.
He held that position at the time of Bloody Sunday, when 14 civil rights protesters were killed by British paratroopers in the city.

During the Saville Inquiry into the events of that day, Paddy Ward claimed McGuinness had personally handed him bomb parts, an allegation McGuinness claimed was 'fantasy'.
In 1973, he was convicted by Ireland's Special Criminal Court, after being caught with a car  loaded with explosives and ammunition. He refused to recognise the court, and was sentenced to six months imprisonment.
However, he has never denied his role in the IRA, saying in September last year: ‘I didn’t say I never fired a gun - I was in the IRA. There were battles on the streets of Derry.'

However, when asked if he had killed anyone, he answered no.
He claims he left the Provisionals in 1974 to pursue a career in politics - five years before the IRA assassinated Lord Mountbatten.

Gerry Adams, you're next': Jean McConville's daughter tells Sinn Fein president he'll follow IRA veteran Ivor Bell to dock

'The Disappeared' campaign to uncover the truth intensifies

"I'll see you in court too, Gerry Adams” — that’s the vow from a daughter of IRA Disappeared murder victim Jean McConville yesterday.

Helen McKendry expressed her hope of seeing the Sinn Fein boss in the dock as a veteran republican was refused bail after being charged over her mum’s abduction and murder.
Ex-IRA chief Ivor Bell, 77, is the first person to appear in court accused of involvement in the December 1972 murder.
It emerged that his arrest was based on recorded interviews — known as the Boston College tapes — that he gave to researchers.
A PSNI detective claimed the tapes indicated Bell had “played a critical role in the aiding, abetting, counsel and procurement of the murder of Jean McConville”.
Bell was part of an IRA delegation — alongside Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness — who had secret talks with the British government back in 1972.
Yesterday at Belfast Magistrates Court, the grey-haired father of three was charged with aiding and abetting those who killed the defenceless mother of ten.
Bell, who lives in Andersonstown, west Belfast was also charged with PIRA membership at the time of the murder.
Wearing a casual grey jacket top, the mustachioed grandfather only spoke to confirm that he understood the charges. He sat impassively through the hour-long hearing — only raising his arm to acknowledge family and friends waving at him from the public gallery.
In an interview with Sunday Life, one of Jean McConville’s daughters described the proceedings as “a start in the right direction”.

She expressed the hope that the charging of Bell will be followed by the arrest of others — including Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams, who has repeatedly denied any connection to Jean McConville’s death or to ever being a member of the IRA.
McKendry said: “He (Ivor Bell) stared at me and he should thank his friend Gerry Adams, if you ask me.”
She added that she also wanted to see Adams appear in court charged in connection with the case.
“Yes, he should and that is what I aim for,” said Mrs McKendry.
Asked if she believed more prosecutions could happen, she added: “I do, yes because there wasn’t just the one person involved in my mother’s murder. There were quite a few. There are people out there still alive today who know what happened.
“People have the right to know what happened. We need to have some sort of justice for our loved ones.”
During yesterday’s proceedings, the validity of the ‘Boston tapes’ — an archive of Northern Ireland ‘Troubles’- related interviews — was questioned by Bell’s solicitor.
Peter Corrigan said that a man codenamed ‘Mr Z’, who he said the prosecution claim is Bell, had denied involvement in the murder: “Mr Z clearly said in these transcripts: ‘I had nothing to do with Jean McConville’s murder’.”
The solicitor said Bell suffered from serious health problems including two heart attacks in 2003 and 2006. He said Bell had an “angina attack” during police questioning at Antrim last week and that he also lives with bowel and arthritis problems.
Mr Corrigan revealed that a local businessman — present in court yesterday — had pledged a surety of £200,000 to help |secure Bell’s release on bail.
He added: “He (Bell) has every incentive to attend court to prove his innocence. Are the prosecution seriously suggesting that a man in this serious ill health who can’t walk up steps is going to abscond for an offence where he has every incentive to attend court?”
Mr Corrigan added that Bell had left the IRA in 1985.
PSNI Detective Inspector Sossick claimed there was a “real risk” of Bell absconding from Northern Ireland.
“The IRA has an all-Ireland network and I have no doubt that he could flee this jurisdiction”, he said.
He revealed that the former Maze internee had twice been involved in escaping or helping others to escape from jail in 1974.
District Judge Amanda Henderson said she was persuaded by the prosecution in this case to refuse bail and remanded Bell in custody to appear in court again by |videolink on April 11. Relatives of Jean McConville including her sons, Michael and James and grandchildren, Sean and Sinead McKendry, were in court for the historic proceedings.
Speaking to Sunday Life minutes after Bell was refused bail, Helen McKendry said: “Let’s hope this leads somewhere.
“It was very emotional for me when his solicitor talked about him and his family, his children and grandchildren.
Jean McConville (left) with three of her children before she vanished in 1972
Jean McConville (left) with three of her children before she vanished in 1972
“Jean McConville’s grandchildren were sitting behind me. They never got to know their grandmother.”
“His solicitor was talking about this man’s ill health. He would have been the same age as my mother at the time. She never got to live. He is 40 years more down the road than she got.
“If he has ill health now, that is his problem, not mine,” she added.
Widow Jean McConville was dragged out of her Divis Flats home in front of her petrified children in December 1972.
The IRA claimed that the Protestant mum had been an informer but this claim was formally rejected in a Police Ombudsman office report in 2006. Mrs McConville’s body was found on a Louth beach in 2003 after a walker spotted a piece of her tweed coat poking out of the sand. She had been shot in the head.
Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams was accused by now dead IRA members Brendan Hughes and Dolours Price of directly ordering Mrs McConville’s death.
But in the 2013 BBC TV documentary The Disappeared, Adams said: “I had no part to play in either the abduction, the killing, or the burial of Jean McConville or indeed any of these other individuals.”

Gerry Adams named in tapes

Several ex-IRA members made a series of recorded confessions as part of the controversial Boston College project in which they talked about their lives as paramilitaries.
They believed none would be made public until after their deaths.
After journalist Ed Moloney wrote a 2010 book, ‘Voices from the Grave’, and made a TV documentary based on these testimonies, the family of Jean McConville launched a fresh complaint with police.
They were stunned to read that veteran IRA members Brendan Hughes and later Dolours Price, both of whom are now dead, named Gerry Adams as giving the order to murder their mother.
Acting on the McConville complaint, the PSNI used an international treaty between Britain and the US to access the recordings, which are stored at Boston College.
The handover of some of the tapes was completed last year, giving detectives a treasure trove of information about the McConville killing and other IRA operations.
Having possession of this invaluable information, which came straight from the mouths of IRA icons like Hughes and Price, they arrested Ivor Bell.
In court yesterday it was suggested that the pensioner has also made a tape in which he may have incriminated himself.
In his recording lodged with Boston College, Brendan Hughes said of Ivor Bell: “I know one particular person on the Belfast brigade at the time, Ivor [Bell] argued for [Jean McConville] to be shot, yes, but to be left on the street. Because to take her away and bury her would serve no purpose, people wouldn’t know.”

Nick Griffin:Political Prostitute.

If you’ve never seen a fat man with one eye standing on a street corner in a mini skirt, offering a promise of nationalist victory in exchange for cash, then taking the money and skipping down a dark alley without having even attempted to honour that promise, you’ve probably never been a member of the BNP.
Nick Griffin has been at the helm of the British National Party since 1999. During those fifteen turbulent years since ousting party founder John Tyndall as Chairman in a bloodless coup, he has singlehandedly drained British nationalism of finances, mainstream appeal, talent and hope.
He has dismantled the BNP from the inside with a devastating combination of incompetence, greed and malice. He is a shameless opportunist according to multiple sources. Even if he is not receiving envelopes stuffed with shekels under the table, he certainly would have earned it, which is all the proof of his allegiance one needs to analyse his motives, given the irreparable damage his has inflicted upon the BNP and through the BNP Nationalism as a whole in the UK and even abroad, through his association with multiple European nationalist parties.
When you bear in mind the mediocre successes of the BNP in spite of Griffin, it leaves one with a palpable sense of loss for what might have been, had Griffin not been in charge and what will come once he has declined into irrelevance.
He works in cycles, like a grindstone powered by an endless reserve of hypocrisy, anti-European racial hatred and personal greed.
He started out hard-line, attracting the support of real nationalists. Slowly, he dilutes the message, opening the party up to a larger pool of bank accounts in the form of new members and naive financial donators. But, inevitably, nationalists begin dropping out, unimpressed with the direction being taken.
This doesn’t matter, for a while, as there are plenty of plastic patriots still chipping in and confirmed Jews who surround him on every side, including numerous Jewish donators who have allegedly formed the bedrock of the Trafalgar club membership. A group set up to fund Nick Griffin’s BNP, in the face of declining normal membership.

But eventually even the cesspool of naive fools, IRA sympathizers and “non-racist” rightist-Catholics get bored, and look for a new shiny object to be a member of to bask in their own worthlessness all whilst their nation is destroyed. Griffin’s coffers become bankrupt and the BNP as an unincorporated association becomes dangerously empty.
Then it’s time to go hard-line: “Anti-racist is a code word for Anti-white” -Screwdriver, “the white race”, “tolerance is genocide” “boots on the streets!” And that’s the problem.
On rare occasions, Griffin does speak out publically on a topic close to our hearts, in an inadequate and insulting manner and many fools forgive him.
People flock back to the alleged money-sponge that is Griffin because, as far as the electoral system goes, there is no one else.
”the BNP is the only game in town…” -Nick Griffin
Griffin, acting (metaphorically) as his own pimp, defends his territory viciously; expelling members whom he feels may threaten his position. Indeed, he has always been more concerned with securing his own future and his Semitic looking son and daughter’s future as the next leaders of sustainable defeat under the BNP than that of European children as a whole.
He is renowned for making members applaud his wife and children’s ‘contributions’ after meetings.
This cycle method of turning the BNP from a party equivocal to “the 1920s Labour party” to a “Social-Nationalist party” (from far-left to soft-left) simultaneously proves all the so-called ‘modernization’ and moderation efforts of Griffin’s BNP could not have been about gaining support, but rather about losing it, to prevent Nationalism from going anywhere as any gains made in decades of modernization are lost within minutes.

Nick Griffin is also renowned for destroying the credibility of his own image as a means to an end of destroying the BNPs credibility via a routine series of retarded tweets every few weeks if he is unable to damage his credibility some other way.
And the cycle begins anew and the BNP scrapes by on welfare recipient member’s monthly direct-debit contributions, welfare-to-welfare, borrowed money, all being funded by your money or your taxes by some indirect and slight route, just like the money Jewish members have given to the BNP, stolen ultimately from ourselves at some inevitable point in our history.
Nick Griffin is a parasite upon us all in this respect, whilst also preventing our Nation from rising spiritually, just by association with himself: “sounds like something Nick Griffin would say” and his political status of moral corruption and destruction.
Jewish Supremacists in the government and Jewish-NGOs might as well just fund the BNP directly, as some allege they do, because the Jewish-invented welfare system already de-facto funds the BNP. It is not surprising that Nick Griffin is a staunch promoter of Judeo-Christianity, routinely insisting on Semitic prayers being aired before party diners and functions, and also during protests.

Griffin has been an MEP since 2009 (which cost the BNP over 500,000 allegedly: one of the most expensive election efforts in UK political history for a single seat), yet disgracefully; Nigel Farage has been far, far more vocal in his criticisms of the European Union than Nick Griffin ever has.
Although Nigel Farage never names the Jew, he has negated the influence of the Jew more than Nick Griffin has in his entire life, in a single speech, Nigel Farage really goes for the jugular in his scathing indictments of the colossal nation-wrecking beast known as the EU. Meanwhile, Nick Griffin just sits on his hands for the most part, whilst managing to fall-out with and cause tensions with Marine Le Pen and numerous other nationalist European figures.
Griffin’s EU speeches have No passion. No fury, he makes No blazing speeches. Nigel Farage knows that his words will fall on deaf ears in the European Parliament, but he says them anyway, because he knows that when they go up on UKIP’s Youtube channel, tens of thousands of ordinary Brits and wider European and European citizens of the Commonwealth and America will see someone finally saying what they are all thinking on a supra-national level.
Their channel is packed with speeches from the European Parliament, some of them clocking over 100,000 views. One speech by Farage, on RT’s channel, has well over one million views! Griffin is lucky if he pulls an audience of 3,000 on those rare occasions he says something.
And even when he does, he usually buffers his statements with a smattering of Jewish appeasement, “the Jewish people should know about suffering, … about persecution” was a line he uttered whilst supposedly talking about the Jewish authored “model statutes for the promotion of tolerance”.
Some allege Nick Griffin’s sole motivation is the enhancement of his bank balance and that nationalism just happened to be the vehicle he uses to achieve that end. But this is not true, his bankruptcy proves this was not his aim and motivation.
These people are lying to an extent, as his motivation is far darker, far more Semitic, even than the pursuit of money, for he is bankrupt and thus only allegedly pursues the destruction of European folk as his main motivation.
Nick Griffin is an alleged manipulator and exploiter, hundreds of nationalists have testified to this in personal conversations, internet forums and even publically to Nick Griffin’s face before he expels them from ‘his’ party, which is nothing more than a means to an end, on behalf of those who wish to hold back, spite and ultimately attempt to destroy the European folk from East to West.
When Nick Griffin speaks, no one outside nationalist circles listens, other than the self-identified Jewish trolls Griffin flirts with on Twitter.
He is an object of satire, a cartoon buffoon in the eyes of the public, a political prostitute to everyone else, including his alleged handlers. Tommy Robinson was a lightweight traitor in comparison to the political prostitute of Nick Griffin. Like many alleged whores, Nick Griffin is also allegedly a political-junkie. He’s not addicted to heroin or crack, but to wasting political-capital and potential.
That’s what keeps him turning tricks for his nationalist clientele, and ultimately, allegedly, that which has resulted in his financial bankruptcy. It sits rather well with his political, moral and alleged racial bankruptcy.

Nick Griffin now wants an expensive gift from his suitors, a 700,000 pound ‘gift’ from his members to buy himself an organisers centre/building facility in an effort, not as he says to grow the BNP, but to create a base line, so that it can never collapse, after all these members (from whom he wants to be given 700,000 -1,000,000 pounds to buy a property) have left the BNP in disgust, even then the BNP will have a mechanism then to be able to sustain itself, theoretically even if it had 0 members. BNP membership is estimated to be less than 2,000-3,900 members, having collapsed from 14,000 around 2009/2010.
Nick Griffin, stated maliciously at the end of a recent speech, that “this long road…we are all in it together”, the BNP being an unincorporated association, truly does mean members are financially liable for the BNPs financial losses (allegedly), on top of the pressure Nick Griffin is pushing for members to make a gift to himself of 700,000 or 1,000,000 pounds, for this ‘organisers centre’, which will likely become a refugee camp for a bankrupt Griffin and co.   The personally, morally, politically, ethically and financially bankrupt political prostitute: Nick Griffin is at it again, (metaphorically) whoring for money.
In a recent video, titled “Mass immigration did not happen by accident”, he does not even mention the Jews once, this is such an obvious whoring on behalf of Jewry, as the recent Nationalist Asatru News article proves (the Jewish roots of the EU), when talking about the ‘designers of the EU’, anyone who is actually informed on the subject cannot avoid the fact that 90-100% of the EUs designers and proponents were and still are Jewish.
Note recently, the Board of Deputies of British Jews, put out their own manifesto for the EU, in which they assume Britain will stay a full member, despite and against the wishes of the majority of the English public opinion.
The document, sickeningly titled “The Jewish 2014 EU Manifesto”, also espouses use of the EU to enforce tolerance and defend against ‘extremism’, i.e the use of the EU to protect and guarantee Jewish power, whilst silencing and punishing those who go against Jewish methodologies. All the while Nick Griffin has been comparatively complacent within the EU, failing everything and everyone who worked foolishly for his election to the ultimate political whoring grounds: the Brussels to Luxembourg red-light district.
A Jewish political prostitute, Nick Griffin has neither honour nor principle.
What does financially supporting Nick Griffin get you?
An empy wallet, disillusionment and perpetuating the defilement of European nationalism.
What has the BNP cost our nation? -If we do not re-take lost ground, the BNP will have lost our nation its very future.
Soon our folk will rise and the BNP will no longer be able to betray them as the BNP is sliding into irrelevance our folk are undergoing an unstoppable Nationalist, Asatru awakening against non-Europeans and their influence.

Islamic law is adopted by British legal chiefs

Solicitors told how to draw up Sharia-style wills penalising widows and non-believers

Under ground-breaking guidance, produced by The Law Society, High Street solicitors will be able to write Islamic wills
Islamic law is to be effectively enshrined in the British legal system for the first time under guidelines for solicitors on drawing up “Sharia compliant” wills.
Under ground-breaking guidance, produced by The Law Society, High Street solicitors will be able to write Islamic wills that deny women an equal share of inheritances and exclude unbelievers altogether.
The documents, which would be recognised by Britain’s courts, will also prevent children born out of wedlock – and even those who have been adopted – from being counted as legitimate heirs.
Anyone married in a church, or in a civil ceremony, could be excluded from succession under Sharia principles, which recognise only Muslim weddings for inheritance purposes.
Nicholas Fluck, president of The Law Society, said the guidance would promote “good practice” in applying Islamic principles in the British legal system.
Some lawyers, however, described the guidance as “astonishing”, while campaigners warned it represented a major step on the road to a “parallel legal system” for Britain’s Muslim communities.
Baroness Cox, a cross-bench peer leading a Parliamentary campaign to protect women from religiously sanctioned discrimination, including from unofficial Sharia courts in Britain, said it was a “deeply disturbing” development and pledged to raise it with ministers.
“This violates everything that we stand for,” she said. “It would make the Suffragettes turn in their graves.”
The guidance, quietly published this month and distributed to solicitors in England and Wales, details how wills should be drafted to fit Islamic traditions while being valid under British law.
It suggests deleting or amending standard legal terms and even words such as “children” to ensure that those deemed “illegitimate” are denied any claim over the inheritance.
It recommends that some wills include a declaration of faith in Allah which would be drafted at a local mosque, and hands responsibility for drawing up some papers to Sharia courts.
The guidance goes on to suggest that Sharia principles could potentially overrule British practices in some disputes, giving examples of areas that would need to be tested in English courts.
Currently, Sharia principles are not formally addressed by or included in Britain’s laws.
However, a network of Sharia courts has grown up in Islamic communities to deal with disputes between Muslim families.
A few are officially recognised tribunals, operating under the Arbitration Act.
They have powers to set contracts between parties, mainly in commercial disputes, but also to deal with issues such as domestic violence, family disputes and inheritance battles.
But many more unofficial Sharia courts are also in operation.
Parliament has been told of a significant network of more informal Sharia tribunals and “councils”, often based in mosques, dealing with religious divorces and even child custody matters in line with religious teaching.
They offer “mediation” rather than adjudication, although some hearings are laid out like courts with religious scholars or legal experts sitting in a manner more akin to judges than counsellors.
One study estimated that there were now around 85 Sharia bodies operating in Britain. But the new Law Society guidance represents the first time that an official legal body has recognised the legitimacy of some Sharia principles.
It opens the way for non-Muslim lawyers in High Street firms to offer Sharia will drafting services. The document sets out crucial differences between Sharia inheritance laws and Western traditions.
It explains how, in Islamic custom, inheritances are divided among a set list of heirs determined by ties of kinship rather than named individuals. It acknowledges the possibility of people having multiple marriages.
“The male heirs in most cases receive double the amount inherited by a female heir of the same class,” the guidance says. “Non-Muslims may not inherit at all, and only Muslim marriages are recognised.
Similarly, a divorced spouse is no longer a Sharia heir, as the entitlement depends on a valid Muslim marriage existing at the date of death. This means you should amend or delete some standard will clauses.”
It advises lawyers to draft special exclusions from the Wills Act 1837, which allows gifts to pass to the children of an heir who has died, because this is not recognised in Islamic law.
Keith Porteous Wood, executive director of the National Secular Society, said: “This guidance marks a further stage in the British legal establishment’s undermining of democratically determined human rights-compliant law in favour of religious law from another era and another culture. British equality law is more comprehensive in scope and remedies than any elsewhere in the world. Instead of protecting it, The Law Society seems determined to sacrifice the progress made in the last 500 years.”
Lady Cox said: “Everyone has freedom to make their own will and everyone has freedom to let those wills reflect their religious beliefs. But to have an organisation such as The Law Society seeming to promote or encourage a policy which is inherently gender discriminatory in a way which will have very serious implications for women and possibly for children is a matter of deep concern.”

The first prosecution in Britain for ritual
female genital mutilation two
DECADES
after the scandal was public knowledge

It has been announced today that the first prosecution in Britain for ritual female genital mutilation (FGM) has been launched.

The impression some elements of the media — and certainly a lot of politicians — have been giving is that the discovery of this vile alien mutilation of young girls has only recently been made known to the authorities and that they have been prompted to take action as a result of a recent episode in a BBC TV hospital ‘soap opera’ which dealt with the subject.

In fact the issue of the ritual ‘infibulation’ of African woman, mainly Somalis and Nigerians, was brought to widespread public attention in an issue of BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour broadcast nearly two decades ago on Thursday 19th January 1995.

The only publication which gave any significant coverage to that broadcast was the obscure “extreme right wing” paper Choice, published by the late Jane Birdwood (the Dowager Lady Birdwood), whose final ten issues were written (for the most part) and typeset by myself. I attach a Jpg file of the coverage given in Choice, issue No. 26, May 1995.

I also run out below some of yesterday’s media coverage of the issue.

And now, the routine abortion of female babies

Another medical issue which, to its shame, Woman’s Hour — along with all other BBC current affairs programmes and indeed the media in general — is keeping quiet about is the routine abortion of unborn female babies, simply and solely because they female.

This Massacre of the Innocents is being perpetrated by various types of Asian immigrants. How many unborn females are being killed in Britain in this way has not been specified. It must run in to many thousands, perhaps scores of thousands, every year.

Woman’s Hour has been quiet on this topic because the programme is totally dominated by aggressive leftist-feminist harridans who are determined to uphold the current de facto situation of ‘Abortion on Demand’, as distinct from abortion for legally and medically determined reasons, which is what the public thought it was getting from Parliament when the law on abortion was changed in 1967.

The reason why a majority of parliamentary politicians and elements of the media are keeping quiet about this homicidal behaviour is the same reason why they have been so coy about female genital mutilation:

These ghastly facts undermine the lies they have told over the past 60 years about how coloured immigration has brought Britain “cultural enrichment”.

The politicians, along with the Police, are also mindful of the fact that coloured immigrants now constitute at least half of the population of London and a higher proportion than that of many other cities. As the riots in London of August 2011 showed, disaffected alien mobs are willing and able, when “provoked”, to loot and burn down city blocks. Those riots also showed that the Police are now unable and/or unwilling to crush such eruptions.

The Establishment multi-racialists have painted themselves into a corner, and they just do not know what to do.

But we do.

“We are the people of England, and we have not spoken yet.”

Martin Webster.

BBC News – London – Wednesday 19th March 2014

Female genital mutilation:
London hospitals treat 4,000 patients

Nearly 4,000 women and girls have been treated for female genital mutilation (FGM) in London's hospitals since 2009, according to new figures.

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust treated the most FGM patients, with 1,146 seen over the past five years.

The data was obtained through Freedom of Information requests to NHS Trusts by BBC London 94.9.

London's mayor Boris Johnson said the practice was "absolutely intolerable".

Forty-one hospital trusts were contacted by the BBC with most supplying figures. Six said they did not currently record figures on FGM, while four did not respond.

The remaining 31 trusts reported that a total of 3,939 FGM patients had been treated in London hospitals.

St George's Healthcare NHS Trust treated the second largest number of patients, with a total of 795 seen between 2009 and 2013, eight of whom were born in the UK.

The trust also revealed six girls under the age of 18 had been treated.

Mr Johnson said he was committed to delivering a pilot initiative aimed at improving the way agencies in the capital identify and respond to FGM.

'Barbaric crime'

"This is a crime basically outlawed in the early-mid 1980s and yet, unlike France, we have not had one single successful prosecution for what is unquestionably a completely barbaric crime," he said.

"It's time to stop being so nervous, so gingerly and hesitant. This is something that is absolutely intolerable in a place like London."

But campaigners say there is a lack of knowledge about how prevalent the practice is and this is hampering social services and the police in the collection of evidence.

Dr Phoebe Abe, a Hillingdon GP, runs a free weekly FGM clinic where she is currently treating 60 women, eight of whom are under 17.

"These women have adhesions, vaginal infections, pelvic inflammatory infections, urine infections - for years they have been having this problems," she said.

Last month the Department of Health announced that, from April, all NHS hospitals will be able to record if a patient has undergone FGM or if there is a family history of it.

By September, all acute hospitals will have to report this data to the department on a monthly basis.

At least 66,000 girls and women in the UK are believed to be victims of FGM.

The children's charity, NSPCC, set up a 24-hour FGM helpline last year.

Female genital mutilation
•  FGM includes procedures that alter or injure female genital organs for non-medical reasons
•  About 140 million girls and women worldwide are living with the consequences of FGM
•  Dangers include severe bleeding, problems urinating, infections, infertility and increased risk of newborn deaths in childbirth
•  The practice is mainly carried out by traditional circumcisers, who play other central roles in communities

Tackling female genital mutilation ‘taboo’ in Birmingham
by Clare Lissaman, BBC News

Casualty's decision to feature female genital mutilation (FGM) on primetime television forced a previously "taboo" subject into mainstream debate. BBC News speaks to the professionals fighting to get the practice stopped.

As a midwife on the labour ward of the inner-city Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham, Alison Byrne has seen a lot. But she was unprepared for treating mothers-to-be who had undergone FGM.

In 2002, following an influx of Somali immigrants to the city, the hospital began seeing pregnant woman who had lost most of their external genitalia to extreme cutting.

The women had undergone the procedure - defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) as "type three" FGM - mainly as young girls in Somalia, where the cultural tradition dates back thousands of years.

But although she is an experienced health professional, Ms Byrne told BBC News she was still shocked when she first encountered FGM.

"I still am, that hasn't gone, absolutely shocked," she said. "Mortified really, when you hear the stories, devastated for the women. It's just dreadful."

The procedure can lead to a range of health problems and make sexual intercourse and childbirth agonising for women.

"With type three, the baby will not deliver vaginally because the opening is so small due to scar tissue and the damage that's been done," she added.

Ms Byrne said "no one knew what to do" when women with FGM first starting using maternity services at the hospital in Bordesley Green.

But as the number of women - and different communities they came from - increased, Ms Byrne and another midwife pushed for a new specialist service to help them.

20,000 'at risk'

In 2003, the new African Well Women's Service saw 109 women with FGM. By 2012, this number had more than tripled to about 330.

Ms Byrne says the increase is a direct result of the type of communities settling in that part of Birmingham. The clinic now mainly sees women from Somalia, Sudan, the Gambia and Eritrea.

The specialist midwife is among a number of experts who welcomed the long-running BBC medical drama's portrayal of FGM. The programme featured a pregnant woman and her teenage daughter both suffering pain and complications as a result of it.

"You just need to get the word out there," said Ms Byrne who believes "education and awareness" is the way forward, particularly among affected communities as well as of medical students, midwives and in schools.

All of the women seen at the clinic underwent FGM before their arrival in the UK, but Ms Byrne does fear for the girls born into cultures where it is practised.

Although FGM, or taking someone abroad for the procedure, is illegal in the UK, research by Forward (Foundation for Women's Health Research and Development) found more than 20,000 girls in England and Wales were at risk.

After Casualty's Unsilenced episode aired, West Midlands Police revealed it had looked into 24 reports of FGM last year.

The force, which has already looked into 10 allegations of FGM this year, had no reports of FGM in 2002 and 2003.

It said officers "thoroughly investigate all allegations of FGM" and raise awareness of the practice through communities and professionals in order to protect potential victims.

No-one in the UK has ever been prosecuted under laws introduced in the mid-1980s.

Ms Byrne said FGM was a "very deeply-rooted cultural tradition" carried out as a result of beliefs, such as to stop infidelity and promiscuity or increase a woman's "marriageability". The World Health Organisation defines it in a similar way <http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs241/en/> .

The age it is carried out and what is done varies between communities, Ms Byrne said. Some women at the clinic were cut at just seven days old.

She said the procedure, often done without anaesthetic in non-sterile conditions, leads to one in 10 girls dying from blood loss, septicaemia or other complications.

'Many myths'

Through the clinic, women who have been sewn up can undergo a surgical reversal called deinfibulation, allowing a normal birth and urination.

They can also receive counselling as many are left traumatised by the procedure carried out without their consent as children.

"Even before anything has been done it is the fact the child has been led away," Ms Byrne said. "You can imagine the psychological implications. Sometimes they might be blindfolded."

Naana Otoo-Oyortey, Forward's executive director, said a shortage of evidence and data made it "very difficult to answer" where the procedure was happening in the UK and whether or not it was increasing.

While the number of communities where FGM was practised had increased in the UK, it was impossible to say how many people would still feel under pressure to continue it, she said.

The lack of evidence also made it extremely difficult to prosecute, she told BBC News.

"There's a lot silence from the communities. But it is abuse and should be stopped," she said.

The Guardian – Thursday 20th March 2014

FGM: thousands of women
treated in London hospitals
Figures show nearly 4,000 patients treated in capital
since 2009 after suffering female genital mutilation
by Press Association

Thousands of women have been treated in London hospitals after suffering female genital mutilation.

Figures obtained by BBC London found that 3,939 FGM patients had been treated across 31 NHS hospital trusts in the capital.

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS foundation trust treated 1,146 FGM patients between 2009 and 2013.

St George's Healthcare NHS trust cared for 795 patients, the BBC reported.

Ealing Hospital NHS trust treated 633 patients, while the Whittington Health NHS trust cared for 493 patients.

Last year, health experts warned that the health and social care system was failing young girls who were at risk of FGM – which is classed as torture by the UN.

They said more needed to be done in the UK to safeguard young girls and babies at risk of the brutal procedure.

A report by experts from the Royal College of Midwives, Royal College of Nursing and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the human rights organisation Equality Now and the trade union Unite said there were "gaps in responsiveness" to addressing FGM in the health and social care system.

Officials did not know whom to turn to if they suspected it had been carried out, and if a girl suspected to be at risk was referred to social services the issue may be dropped because some care workers did not feel that FGM lay within their remit, the report said.

There was no accountability in performance of health and social care workers and a lack of consistent data about the issue, the report found. There have been no prosecutions for FGM, even though it has been banned in the UK since 1985.

The home affairs select committee launched an inquiry into FGM in December
<http://www.theguardian.com/society/2013/dec/18/fgm-inquiry-lack-prosecution-uk-female-genital-mutilation> . The committee chair, Keith Vaz, said at the time: "It is shocking that 28 years on from female genital mutilation first being made a criminal offence, there has not yet been a successful prosecution in the UK.

"The committee's inquiry will seek to find out why this is the case, as well as considering what more needs to be done to protect at-risk girls."

Evening Standard – Thursday 16th May 2013

Help us protect schoolgirls at
risk in the FGM ‘cutting season’

Minister Lynne Featherstone tells Anna Davis Londoners
have a duty to alert police about potential mutilation victims
by Anna Davis

All Londoners have a duty to help in the fight against female genital mutilation as the “cutting season” approaches, Lynne Featherstone said today.

Anyone who suspects girls are in danger of being cut during the summer holidays must tell the police, added the International Development Minister.

Experts warn that girls are most at risk of the life-threatening practice during the long break, dubbed “FGM season”, when parents take their daughters home to their mother countries so that there is enough time for them to recover from the procedure before term starts again.

Ms Featherstone  said: “This is everyone’s problem. If a Londoner was concerned about a neighbour and a child ... she or he should have no hesitation in taking that to an authority.

“Although an average Londoner doesn’t have a safeguarding duty in the same way that teachers do, nevertheless they can go to their local authority or police or school and say ‘I am concerned about this child’. If you see something then talk to someone about it. Say you have concerns.”

Naana Otoo-Oyortey, executive director of London-based charity Forward, said: “Safeguarding is everyone’s business. Key professionals have a duty, especially as summer approaches. They need to understand the risk that girls face as well as knowing the appropriate action to take to protect them.”

Ms Featherstone warned that there are girls in London who are already being prepared to go abroad for FGM this summer, and some teachers have already raised concerns with her about “missing” pupils.

More than 65,000 women living in Britain have fallen victim to FGM and a further 30,000 are at risk — the highest figures in Europe. Yet there have been no prosecutions in the UK, something Ms Featherstone said is “frustrating” for the Government.

It has pledged £35 million to eradicate FGM within a generation. The procedure involves cutting off a girl’s external genitals and in many cases her clitoris, and can involve her being sewn shut, causing severe health problems.

The money will help charities that are stamping out the practice in countries including Senegal, which could become the first to abandon it by the end of 2015. But Ms Featherstone admitted that it can be harder to change attitudes in the UK.

“The history of diasporas is that you kind of get stuck in time, so you hold to the traditions and things that meant so much at the time of separation, whereas the mother countries might move on and change.”

She added there have been “cultural eggshells” that have stopped people, including head teachers, speaking out about the issue, and she will be meeting officials at the Department for Education to discuss what more can be done to break the silence.

She said: “It would be great to have a prosecution and send out the message that this is violence against women, it’s child abuse and it’s unacceptable.

‘But the bigger issue has to come from behaviour change, because you are not going to put 20,000 sets of parents in prison in this country.

‘Prosecution would be a good message but this is very deeply embedded. I don’t think we should underestimate that what’s been going on for over 2,000 years can just be turned around.”

MS Featherstone praised the work of Tostan, an organisation in Senegal that has had great success changing attitudes by running a 30-month programme in villages. Its work is supported by London-based charity Orchid Project.

At the end of the project communities hold “declaration ceremonies” where they pledge not to cut their daughters any more amid dancing and celebrating. If research shows this approach would work in London, similar ceremonies could happen here.

The Evening Standard will be reporting on the work being done in Senegal in a series of articles. Ms Featherstone added: “People are very glad to see this issue raised because there has been a veil of silence... the more we keep banging this drum the more people will hear the message and I hope ultimately it will just become something where it seems extraordinary that we used to do that.

“I want to thank the Evening Standard for taking such a strong lead on this. It is fantastic and is having a snowballing effect all of its own.”

LABOUR - for the working man !
Labour Councillor Richard 'Fatty' Farnell

What is it with Labour politicians and Jaguar cars (Jags) ?

First we had '2 Jags' John  Prescott, and now we have Richard 'Fatty' Farnell, a leading Labour Rochdale Councillor and friend of leading labourite John Prescott. Farnell also drives a 2008 Jaguar.

Farnell is an old marxist and was a MILITANT TENDENCY member in the 1980's and 1990's. He was also a member of the Anti Nazi League (ANAL). He helped organise an extreme  left wing riot in Rochdale in 1993 which resulted in a pub that contained BNP members being wrecked . BBC Radio Manchester outside crew were also inside that pub at the time and reported on the red riot.

In the 90's Fatty Farnell was leader of the Labour controlled council in Rochdale, but for some reason in the very late 1990's left politics to train as a journalist attending University of Central Lancashire at Preston . Farnell seems to have been a failure, and left his course early.

He is now back in Rochdale and is once again a local councillor. Many areas of Rochdale would elect Moors murderer Ian Brady if he stood for Labour.

Farnell also has a rather 'upmarket' home as well, and being as he has never worked a day in his life one must wonder where his outward signs of 'capitalist greed' comes from ?

Farnell has lost a lot of weight over the last few years. He used to be as big as Cyril Smith MP, another disgrace to Rochdale.

A 2008 Jaguar doesn't come cheap nor does his current home. Where has he got his money from ? He must also have a disabled parking badge or why would he park his car on double yellow lines outside Rochdale Labour MPs offices on Cheetham Street ?

Farnell now in his 50's, has never married nor been seen with female company. Nor male company for that matter. Very reminiscent of Cyril Smith. Ooh errr !

The marxist communist hypocrite !

LABOUR - for the working man !

More on Fatty Farnell;

Spin-doctor at centre of probe over sick leave

Richard Farnell has made it to 26 out of 29 meetings at Rochdale council since last May – despite being unable to work as office manager for Liverpool’s elected mayor Joe Anderson since last summer.

A mayor's right-hand man is at the centre of a political storm after attending council meetings whilst on sick leave.
Richard Farnell has made it to 26 out of 29 meetings at Rochdale council since last May  – despite being unable to work as office manager for Liverpool’s elected mayor Joe Anderson since last summer.
The councillor for Balderstone and Kirkholt ward is also a member of the ruling Labour cabinet at the town hall, with responsibility for corporate services and townships.
Now opposition Liberal Democrat councillors in Liverpool have called for an investigation by their council’s chief executive, Ged Fitzgerald.
Supporters of Coun Farnell, who had a spine operation last year, say he is following doctors’ orders to keep as active as possible – but not to commute up the East Lancs Road every day.
Liverpool Lib Dem leader Coun Tom Morrison, in a letter to Mr Fitzgerald expressed his ‘concern’ about Coun Farnell’s attendance record, adding: “I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter with the utmost urgency and inform me of what action will be taken.”
A friend of Coun Farnell – who is now on statutory sick pay and is not being paid by Liverpool council – said that he was suffering with a chronic condition and had been signed off work by a number of doctors.
They said he had been encouraged to remain active but that working an eight hour day at Liverpool council was out of the question.
The source said: “Being able to attend meetings at Rochdale council, which he can leave if he is in too much pain, has been very helpful for Richard. I suspect he would have been very depressed by now had he not had that.”
Coun Farnell said he was unable to comment because of the terms of his employment with Liverpool council – but Labour sources said Mr Fitzgerald’s letter was ‘politically motivated’.
A Liverpool council spokesman said: “We do not comment on confidential personnel matters regarding individual members of staff.”

Did Cameron help his Nepalese nanny get British citizenship? Downing Street face questions over role in application

  • Row erupted after immigration minister said uncontrolled immigration benefited only ‘wealthy metropolitan elite’ who wanted cheap labour
  • Labour MP John Mann demanded the whole Cabinet come clean on their use of foreign workers
  • Downing Street refused to answer questions about Mr Cameron’s nanny
  • Mr Clegg was asked about his arrangements on his regular LBC radio phone-in

David Cameron is coming under pressure to say if he helped secure British citizenship for his Nepalese nanny.
Downing Street is facing questions over whether the Prime Minister wrote a letter in support of Gita Lima's application.
It comes after Number 10 defended Miss Lima as someone who 'wants to work hard and get on', following a speech by the new Tory immigration minister attacking the ‘wealthy metropolitan elite’ who relied cheap labour for help at home.
The Prime Minister currently employs a nanny from Nepal and previously hired an Australian
The Prime Minister currently employs a nanny from Nepal and previously hired an Australian

The row erupted after the new immigration minister, James Brokenshire, said uncontrolled immigration benefited has benefited the middle classes but forced down wages for the less well-off.
Mr Brokenshire's comments backfired after critics pointed out that the Prime Minister currently employs a nanny from Nepal and previously hired an Australian.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg also admitted hiring a Belgian ‘lady’ as a ‘home help’.
Labour MP John Mann demanded that the whole Cabinet come clean on their use of foreign workers.
‘We need every Cabinet minister to declare what staff they have employed from abroad,’ he said.
‘They should be seeking out British staff. It is total hypocrisy. They need to make up their minds on this.’
After initially refusing to comment on the Prime Minister's use of foreign workers, Downing Street last night defended his decision not to hire UK-born staff.

The Prime Minister's official spokesman said: 'We have always said we want people who want to work hard and get on. Do we want the brightest and the best? Yes we do.
'And that would absolutely include, for example, Mr and Mrs Cameron's nanny as someone who wants to work hard and get on.
'As a result of coming to this country and working hard and getting on, she is now a British citizen.'
But today Downing Street refused to comment on whether Mr Cameron or his office had written a letter in support of the citizenship application as Miss Gima's employer.
'I am not going to get into these details,' the PM's spokesman said. 'The point is the PM's nany is someone who has come here, has worked hard and got on in life.
'I am not going to get into the application process of their nanny.'
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg admitted hiring a Belgian 'lady' as a 'home help'

In his first speech in the job, Mr Brokenshire told the Demos think-tank: ‘The immigration system we inherited was not designed to benefit this country or the people who live here.
‘For too long, the benefits of immigration went to employers who wanted an easy supply of cheap labour, or to the wealthy metropolitan elite who wanted cheap tradesmen and services, but not to the ordinary, hard-working people of this country.
‘Those who tend to lose out most when there is uncontrolled immigration are manual and low-skilled workers who have to compete with an influx of people from poorer countries who are willing to work for less.’
The row erupted after the new immigration minister, James Brokenshire, said uncontrolled immigration benefited only the 'wealthy metropolitan elite' who wanted cheap labour

Downing Street refused to answer any questions about Mr Cameron’s nanny.
But it is understood Mr Cameron and his wife Samantha employ a Nepalese woman, Gita Lima. She was recruited from a charity, Kalayaan, which helps immigrants seeking to escape abusive employers.
Originally from Nepal, she is now a British national. A second woman, Australian Sammi Strange, has looked after Mr Cameron’s children in the past.
Mr Clegg was asked about his arrangements on his regular LBC radio phone-in. He insisted he would not ‘get into’ details of his home life but later told listeners: ‘I have a lady who has a Belgian passport who helps us.’
The Home Office said Mr Brokenshire ‘manages the household with his wife’ and does not employ a nanny or cleaner.
In his speech, the Immigration Minister attacked the BBC for giving huge prominence to a report about the impact of mass immigration on the jobs market – without having read it. The BBC’s Newsnight had claimed the study by civil servants would undermine the Tory party’s case for stricter border controls.
In fact, when the previously secret report was published yesterday it said that officials found that some British workers had been ‘losers’. The group hardest hit was ‘low-skilled natives’.
The study – written jointly by the Home Office and Business Department – said: ‘Overall, our assessment is that there is relatively little evidence that migration has caused statistically significant displacement of UK natives from the labour market in periods when the economy has been strong.
‘However, in line with some recent studies, there is evidence for some labour market displacement in recent years when the economy was in recession.’
Mr Brokenshire said the study vindicated Conservative claims that immigration had damaged the job prospects of unemployed Britons, particularly those looking for low-skilled jobs.

Camouflaged Israeli soldiers on Maidan Square

According to the Israeli website alyaexpress-news.com, a unit of 35 armed and masked men and women on Maidan square is commanded by four former Israeli Army officers, who wear a kippah under their helmets.
The site claims that these former officers, who live today in Ukraine, joined the movement since the beginning of the events alongside the Freedom Party (Svoboda), although the latter has a reputation for being virulently anti-Semitic.
With the help of the Israeli Embassy, this intervention force reportedly also handled the transfer of 17 seriously injured persons to Israel for treatment.
The presence of Israeli units had been reported in a similar scenario in Georgia, both in during the "Rose Revolution" (2003) that in the war against South Ossetia (2008).
