Mr. Paterson held seat with a huge majority of almost 23,000 in 2019 and it voted Leave in 2016 referendum. But in a stunning turnaround Helen Morgan was elected to heap more pressure on the Prime Minister. The party, which finished a distant third in 2019, claimed victory long before counting ended .
