LIVE: Britain First and counter-protesters rally in Rochdale
Rival protests march in Rochdale, July 22, after Britain First organise rally in the city that was the site of a child sex abuse ring which was exposed in 2011.
Britain First’s rally was instigated by allegations of local authorities covering up the incidents, and the racial profile of those convicted in connection to the crimes.
NWN: We had a look down here this afternoon. SEARCHLIGHT cameras were spotted, and are seen in this video. Apparently, there is another 'demo' next week with the EDL having a demo on the same theme.
The 'real nationalists' seem to have vanished off the face of the earth .
Apparently 1 communist was arrested.
An interesting comment which shows the mindset of the communists/UAF " The nazis are still in a car park". Where their pics are taken from, the communists were in the very next car park !
'Britain First' were coralled in a steel enclosed area, and the Rochdale public were NOT allowed into it by the Police to listen to their speakers.
There were about 300 Britain First and about 50 communists and local asians in opposition. A poor turnout by the left on a sunny day in Rochdale.
