Stolberg, near Aachen, GermanyOn 4 April 2008 the 19 year-old Kevin Plum from Eschweiler attended a NPD (German National Party) meeting in the neighbouring town of Stolberg near Aachen. On the way home at night he and his friend were attacked in Birkengangstraße by a band of foreigners and Kevin was fatally stabbed. Kevin was taken by ambulance to hospital where a short time later he died of his injuries.
What his friends, comrades and family found particularly painful was the curt, matter-of-fact manner in which the local TV station reported the attack and his death.
Also typical is the reporting of the spontaneous demonstration in the town the day after Kevin's death in which one police officer was bitten by his own dog. The TV report says 6 police officers were injured. This is nothing other than pure media lies.
As expected, the German mainstream media have barely covered the story with no talk of racism! No headlines and nation-wide publicity which is normally the case if there is suspicion of a 'racist incident', even if this is not proven and even if there is no serious injury.
